#UFC257 - Спорт
Comments are crazy, saying he’s lost motivation or comparing him to Ronda Rousey. He came in great shape, lost to the better man on the night and answered for it to the media. Losing to a guy as good as Dustin doesn’t mean your career is finished by a long shot
Everyone is making it seem as if Dustin poirier is some crappy backyard fighter, he’s fucking 27 and 5 in the toughest fighting sport in the world right now,
Yeah you guys are right man. Dustin is a great fighter in his own right. And Conor doesn’t look weak in this fight. He was dominating in the 1st round. He just got caught when Dustin turned him around and backed him against the cage and unloaded. I say Dustin got better, and Conor is still one of the best
wtf, conor is the one that keep underestimating dustin, 60 sec ko, im promise a masterpiece, mlgreatness but still below me thing. he deserve the hate he got tonight.
@@prunceman3566 he said he was going to win a fight and he didn’t, big deal. It’s a sport where somebody wins and somebody loses, and without Khabib around, Dustin is the no.1 guy. Have you ever heard a fighter say he’s not in good shape and he doesn’t think he’s going to win?

Honestly felt bad for Mcgregor seeing him like that, he looked very vulnerable tonight. Hope this isn’t the last of him.
Dude same here, I wanted Dustin to win but seeing Connor get knocked out like that had me thinking about it non stop all day, I hope this isn’t the end for him , he’s such a unique guy like a unicorn , u want to see him to do miraculous things
Never have i thought about a fight much once it's done. Seeing Conor like that has genuinely bothered me and i can't stop thinking about it, it's weird
exactly you're so used to seeing him bouncing around and to see him limping and getting beat up like that made me feel kind of bad for him.
Deep down he’s good guy only if he didn’t talk so much trash.
@@ace1388 Of course, we know that. Maybe this loss will bring back the McGregor we know he can be. The McGregor that fought Diaz in the 2nd fight was infinitely better than the one we saw. I will never write Dustin or Khabib off, they are both incredible fighters, but I do not believe we have seen the best Conor since the Eddie fight
"Friendship ended with Conor. Dustin is my new best friend." - Dana White
Yeah I dont think so. In the post fight press conference Dustin said he doesn't like the sport anymore. Maybe two more fights and he's done. I see the lightweight division emptying out pretty soon once khabib, Tony, conor, Poirier, and Olivera retire.
Actually it's Khabib who's Dana's bestie rn
Chandler and khamzat are Dana's new toys.

“We are one and one dustin good ma- YA WIFE IS IN ME DMS HEY BABY”
It’s even a hard pill for us to swallow for seeing him lose the way he did but nobody will ever forget how great he was and everything he has done for the sport
didnt think dude could get knocked out until now. he actually went out. thats fkn unreal. i thought that if anyone can finish conor with strikes its dustin but i expected something like standing TKO or TKO with groundshots on the gloves, didnt expect him to go out from getting cracked on the chin like that. it was a nice timing for that right hand by dustin tho. that right hook that sat him down did 0 damage but he never saw that second right hand coming that hit him on the chin before he ever hit the mat, then the left hook, night night. just fkn unbelievable
Yeah but I don’t think he went night night but, it was a clean shot by Dustin. Props to him!
This is a lesson to always check the leg kicks...
easier said than done if someone is mixing in the kicks well timed and behind punches, as if fighters wouldn’t do anything against kicks if they could..
Right, I was noticing that since the start of the fight. He didn't even check it once. Damn.
Also Conor karate stance is an easier target than boxing or maui tie fighters
Low Calf kick is hard to check....

Like what Khabib did against Gaethje, when Gaethje was pummelling Khabib's legs.
@Sam 1993 lool sour fan boy go cry yourself to sleep
@Sam 1993 I'd get destroyed.
To be honest, people have been way too conditioned with the whole "win" or "lose" thing. From a young age we're made to believe a loss is a complete failure, undeserving of the same respect. It's silly. Only one gets their hand raised at the end of a bout, but they're both world class fighters competing at the highest level. It's never a loss if you went in there and gave it all you had. One guy just comes out on top on the night. The other could win on a different night. All competitors have my respect.
pretty sure you wouldn't be saying the same sht and would have barked "the king is back" if conor won. so stop pretending to be someone you are not, its simply conor got exposed again, this time by dustin. your false hopes of him winning on other nights isnt gonna change reality. so sit down and acknowledge the truth ,instead of slithering around to keep your delusional dreams alive.
@@zeuxlaught2797 You're pretty sure? "Stop pretending to be something you're not"? It sounds like you're PRETENDING to know me and ASSUMING I was rooting for Conor. You know what they say about assuming. I wasn't rooting for Conor to win smart guy. I wasn't rooting for Dustin either. In fact, I'm a big fan of Dustin as a man and martial artist, and although Conor has made some public mistakes he's done a lot of good as well. I'm more of a fan of them both as martial artists than anything. If you actually did know me, you'd understand that I never go into ANY fight rooting for either competitor to win or lose. I simply hope for a good contest where both are able showcase and represent their skills and hard work to the fullest and give it their best. I don't ever hope for one man to "win or lose". It's an inevitable outcome with the exception of a rare draw, but I'm more interested in the battle and artistic aspect of martial arts and seeing style matches and the competition in general. I don't hang my hat on wins or losses. Open your mind more and assume less.
@@closinginonclosure yea the reactions are cringe, people make a huge deal out of it.
it's because they've been affected so much by Conor's Charisma that seeing him getting knocked out makes them feel like his winner persona and charisma is fake just because he got knocked out.
some of these people actually believe Conor's a hype job and 'he hasn't beaten anybody', I mean everybody knows Conor is barely top 5 in LW and specially recently but you have to be dumb to think he's bad fighter.
@@Ar1AnX1x I haven't heard people calling it fake or people calling him a hype job, but I've seen people online talking trash. It's definitely not fake. He's just an ultra confident person. He's also a very talented martial artist. Calling him a hypejob is just ignorant and silly. You don't have to like him to acknowledge his accomplishments. Joining the UFC and clearing out a division of tough fighters. Beating the #2 Mendes on short notice. Then beating the champion who'd been unbeaten in a decade in 13 seconds. Going from fighting at 145 and aiming to fight at 155 and taking the short notice fight at 170 against Nate. Losing and turning around for a rematch and finding a way to win. Then becoming the first simultaneous double champion in UFC history with a flawless performance against Eddie. Then making his pro boxing debut and going 10 rounds with one of the greatest boxers in history. Not to mention his double champion status in Cage Warriors. The idea of a hypejob is silly. You can't just talk yourself into the position he's in. You have to prefom as well. I'm not a fan of some of his past actions outside of the octagon, but he's a hell of a fighter. And one fight never dictates a career or legacy. Win or lose.
@@closinginonclosure lol there's a lot of misinformation in your statement there Conor didn't really clear any division he got his belt and dipped and secondly Chad and Nate were the ones who took the fight on short notice Conor still had a full training camp for both those fights

I miss that Mcgregor , when he owned the business..
Humble in Victory or Defeat. The Champ Champ will be back 🇮🇪 🏆
Pretty sure it’s over
I think he should move up to 170 permanently
Yea who doesn’t remember his humble words „i apologize to absolutely nobody, the double champ does what the f he wants“
But don’t let that stop you from sucking him off
Enjoy it
Next week: Conor retires😂😂😂
Humble unless it's Khabib.

Great frame of mind for you Connor to be in after the fight after your loss I still respect you you'll one of the greatest fighters of all time it will never be the same without you
This is when Ragnar lothbrok is out of his prime.
Funny... Conor did have almost the exact hair style changes as ragnar...... Anyways, guess this is his 'pit of snakes'
Lmao for real
Who wants to be KING!
Don't insult Ragnar Lothbrok
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He should have known them ATT signature style calf kicks coming, big respect to Mike Brown and his team too👍
"its only business"
Thanks for everything McGregor.. for the new era in UFC. You legend. 🙏🙏
That tear running down his cheek as he's holding back how hurt he is

@@Erwin-eo7iv y'all just take every chance you get to make this sport sound like it's followed by a bunch of kids, don't you?

@Cozy Dorian i learned english watching youtube, thanks for the correction i get their, there etc always wrong :)
@Cozy Dorian I'm not disrespecting him, I'm pointing out how he's hurt by all his hard work not leading to a victory, all respect to Conor and how he took the loss like a champ, hoping to see him fight more this year.
Man this is the most humble I've ever seen him
Too little too late. He ran his mouth for years, and now looks like an idiot. Can't wait for him to lose again, if he ever fights again. a pathetic .500 record in the last half-DECADE. Has more wins than arrests in the last 2 years lol, McFraud should retire, and never run his mouth again. The amount of times he ran his mouth beating little wrestlers who he should not have even been fighting as he was bigger, taller, and had a reach advantage, vs times he showed humility after losing almost every time vs someone his own size...is not nearly enough. Usually he has some dumb excuse and then starts posting on IG trying to explain why he didn't really lose. Watch. Pathetic.

Leg kicks changed the trajectory of the fight.
And a good chin at 155
@@1994mrmysteryman and Dustin's improved Boxing
Haha phuckoff
Very surprising from Dustin. Conor was outboxing him in the 1st but those leg kicks fucked up conor.
It didn’t help that Conor left his chin and his mma arsenal in Ireland. He stood and boxed. A sitting duck. Dustin brought a much better game and Conor looked old/rusty. He’s got some thinking to do.
We need him to be cocky again
@Yifeng Toh Its kinda called "being mature" cuz of the fact he has kids. But think of it how u want. Please don't get mad okay?😳
He will coz of the donation thing...he will cuss at Dustin...
@@kashmeer8742 But that whole thing was just dumb
he’s been beat too many times i think
@@user-qh4re4ts1m then why he called dustin wife is in his dm after losing today, you guys are always biased
The moment I saw Dustin's abs I knew it he was not kidding around.
Conor was too goddamn nice. He lacked aggressiveness. Totally different fighter
he was too stationary and didnt use his kicks. he doesnt fight how he used to moving back and forth waiting for an opening to use the left hand.
Khabib destroyed Conor's confidence in trashtalking. It also only works if you can back it up in the cage, which he was able to do at FW but not at LW. Poirier is also a much better fighter now than he was in 2014.
He is going full cowboy cerrone
Conor McGregor is finished.
The pride of Ireland🤣🤣🤣🤣
We trash talk conor back so he can get inside em fighters heads

He was humble but he did said that he gonna ko dustin in 60sec
If you go back and watch Sean O'Malleys first fight you will see him take his first l because of a leg kick. Same thing happened to conor. He was doing good just didn't deal with the leg kicks early on.
Not even an English translator knew what he said at one point XD
he was still shaking off the blows to his head I guess. That's how we know he's over the hill, when his loud mouth as well as his skills are out of tune.
What kind of stupidity is that 😅 he may have just been rusty. I had Poirier winning regardless so take nothing away from Dustin but to say McGregor is over the hill at 32 is ludicrous
@@EnzoPepsiCola like it would be the first fighter who's over the hill at 32. Some stay near their prime till they're 40, others are burned up at a young age. Take Aldo for example, he hasn't performed to his abilities since losing to Conor in 2015, and he's only 34 now. And over the hill doesn't mean shot, it means in decline. But of course you're the expert, sitting in your couch with your remote and your beer.
@@ivo4357 firstly I don't drink beer but good try at patronising. Secondly I don't quite see what you mean when you say he's over the hill based on that last performance. He was in there with arguably the best active lightweight fighter so it's not exactly "oh Conor didn't win so he's done". It's all just opinions so I never said anything about me being an expert so not sure why you seem to be defensive
I understood everything he said.
He needs to get back to his style from the Aldo fight, very light on his feet
Aldo fight was fixed
the one who lost to Nate Diaz?
Maybe it has to something to do with the fact that fighting short height short reach guys at 145 is not the same like guys at 155 or 170?? And no so much with any of the excuses like: he wasnt motivated, he was inactive, he wasnt light on his feet mer mer mer mer biggest hypejob in the history of combat sports
@@ThatSocratesguy Should I say the same to Khabib being a natural 180-190 lbs guy and fighting lightweights.
@@harshvardhan4356 hahaha "natural" guys at welterweight are much bigger than Khabib. Do you think any of the top guys there could cut to 155? No. So that means Khabib isn't a welterweight 🤡
