    Comments are crazy, saying he’s lost motivation or comparing him to Ronda Rousey. He came in great shape, lost to the better man on the night and answered for it to the media. Losing to a guy as good as Dustin doesn’t mean your career is finished by a long shot

    To be honest, people have been way too conditioned with the whole "win" or "lose" thing. From a young age we're made to believe a loss is a complete failure, undeserving of the same respect. It's silly. Only one gets their hand raised at the end of a bout, but they're both world class fighters competing at the highest level. It's never a loss if you went in there and gave it all you had. One guy just comes out on top on the night. The other could win on a different night. All competitors have my respect.

      pretty sure you wouldn't be saying the same sht and would have barked "the king is back" if conor won. so stop pretending to be someone you are not, its simply conor got exposed again, this time by dustin. your false hopes of him winning on other nights isnt gonna change reality. so sit down and acknowledge the truth ,instead of slithering around to keep your delusional dreams alive.

    • @closinginonclosure

      @@zeuxlaught2797 You're pretty sure? "Stop pretending to be something you're not"? It sounds like you're PRETENDING to know me and ASSUMING I was rooting for Conor. You know what they say about assuming. I wasn't rooting for Conor to win smart guy. I wasn't rooting for Dustin either. In fact, I'm a big fan of Dustin as a man and martial artist, and although Conor has made some public mistakes he's done a lot of good as well. I'm more of a fan of them both as martial artists than anything. If you actually did know me, you'd understand that I never go into ANY fight rooting for either competitor to win or lose. I simply hope for a good contest where both are able showcase and represent their skills and hard work to the fullest and give it their best. I don't ever hope for one man to "win or lose". It's an inevitable outcome with the exception of a rare draw, but I'm more interested in the battle and artistic aspect of martial arts and seeing style matches and the competition in general. I don't hang my hat on wins or losses. Open your mind more and assume less.

      @@closinginonclosure yea the reactions are cringe, people make a huge deal out of it.
      it's because they've been affected so much by Conor's Charisma that seeing him getting knocked out makes them feel like his winner persona and charisma is fake just because he got knocked out.
      some of these people actually believe Conor's a hype job and 'he hasn't beaten anybody', I mean everybody knows Conor is barely top 5 in LW and specially recently but you have to be dumb to think he's bad fighter.

      @closinginonclosure 3 роки тому +3

      @@Ar1AnX1x I haven't heard people calling it fake or people calling him a hype job, but I've seen people online talking trash. It's definitely not fake. He's just an ultra confident person. He's also a very talented martial artist. Calling him a hypejob is just ignorant and silly. You don't have to like him to acknowledge his accomplishments. Joining the UFC and clearing out a division of tough fighters. Beating the #2 Mendes on short notice. Then beating the champion who'd been unbeaten in a decade in 13 seconds. Going from fighting at 145 and aiming to fight at 155 and taking the short notice fight at 170 against Nate. Losing and turning around for a rematch and finding a way to win. Then becoming the first simultaneous double champion in UFC history with a flawless performance against Eddie. Then making his pro boxing debut and going 10 rounds with one of the greatest boxers in history. Not to mention his double champion status in Cage Warriors. The idea of a hypejob is silly. You can't just talk yourself into the position he's in. You have to prefom as well. I'm not a fan of some of his past actions outside of the octagon, but he's a hell of a fighter. And one fight never dictates a career or legacy. Win or lose.

The amount of times he ran his mouth beating little wrestlers who he should not have even been fighting as he was bigger, taller, and had a reach advantage, vs times he showed humility after losing almost every time vs someone his own size...is not nearly enough.
