Years ago my car broke down at a major junction (battery). A policeman at his traffic box came straight across and with others pushed my car into a side alley. The policeman then took me on his motorbike to a battery shop, I got the new battery and the policeman actually fitted it. I drove off and came back round the block, parked up and walk over to him delighted with an outstretched hand, we shook hands and discretely he was rewarded with a handsome little sum for his outstanding kindness. Happy New Year, from Khon Kaen, fellow man from Girvan, Ayrshire.
Have lived here for over 6 years and what I love about this place is that Thai people don't make a big deal about things that are not a big deal. Of course there are always exceptions to every rule. But Thailand is a wonderful place
Well said and yes these things must be mentioned. Nothing you said is strange, it's exactly like you said. Thailand is an amazing place, I am always happy to be there. Ofcourse things aren't perfect but they are not perfect anywhere. We got to make it nice ourselves
What a great story. I have spent a lot of time in the Philippines they are genuine people like the Thais will always help when you are in trouble. I love the country and its people may venture to Thailand one day. Love the country you're in I don't understand why people moan either
We have a breakdown service part of the car insurance. I had the same battery problem he just replaced it, it took him 1 hour thou to get there and replace the battery.
Been here 24 years and I completely agree with you, but my advice to you Tong is, ignore the people you are talking about. Thai people understand these people exist and they know how to deal with them, Just enjoy your life here and forget the moaning minnes and my Granny would have called them. Please have a happy new year and tell Moon sà-wàd-dee bpii-mài.
@@TonyFlanagan69 thank you Tony you are right of course. On reflection the video was an immediate response to the stark comparison between helpful, friendly Thai's and those who complain. ❤️🙏
Happy new year buddy from Hamilton, Scotland. I've been looking at Thailand for a potential future as I've just turned 50, all the best for the new year, Monkey Shoulder not bad whisky, prefer Talisker myself and some non peaty Speysides..Cheers and oh new year cancelled in Edinburgh so well more time to enjoy some whisky.
@@GamerPolygon Hi thanks for the comment. Yes get over here at least for a trial period. I wish I'd done it earlier. I read about Edinburgh cancelling the festivities. The Tron will be busy then. That's where folk used to gather years ago before the organised street parties began. Happy new year.
Bloody Jocks, what would you know about Whisky! If you were ever brave enough to sample some good Irish whisky like Bushmills you'd never go back to that flavored cold tea the Scottish call whiskey
That's exactly what I thought. Unsubcribed a couple of videos ago because of this. Just because he seems to be over Thailand doesn't mean its Thailand. Can't stand the complaining. If you're over it then move on.

@@thomaszupko5276 Completely agree, we can learn a lot from Thais
I’m 21 yrs, the land of smiles, it’s an enigma, and rest assured, faces get broken, well we all know the rest.
You should learn Thai so you will understand how much they hate foreigners. You're a sucker.
