Distiller, James Whelan, On Handcrafting Whiskey at one of Oregon's Oldest Distilleries

James Whelan was a server at McMenamins Ram's Head when Edgefield Distillery was established. He eventually became a brewer and worked his way into a position with Edgefield Distillery where he is currently the head distiller. Edgefield Distillery is one of Oregon's oldest craft distilleries and James shares his perspective on the evolution of the distillery and the art of handcrafting spirits in a historic building with all its original quirks.
