One of my pawns had a voiceline about how beautiful the sea is and how one day they hope we can venture across the waters, makes sense now if theres another place with a similar sized map

I don't want more one and done dlc, I want dlc with replay aspects built in, like bitterblack isle, everfall etc. Unmoored world looked like they wanted to do stuff like that but just didnt.

@@KaneCiticani Yeah, but for people with time it was a long journey already, even if it just came out. I spent 102 hours on NG, went into NG+ a few hours and the fun won't disappear in any way.

I don’t care how much people complained about the game. I’ve played since launch, and my experience has been entirely positive. I’m not saying people are wrong about the optimization situation, but my experience speaks for itself. I’m level 80 on my main account, and I’m working on my second account so I can have control over the pawns in my party
what youre doing with pawns is why we cant have more save slots. its already an oversaturated market.
I'm in my second playthrough, 150 hours and I absolutely love this game. Graphics is AMAZING a tons of small details and ray tracing on ps5 is also awesome. I don't understand all this negative

It's a good game and people expectations are extremely high. You can't have all these expectations and not have issues. And having all these expectations make the game priced more. Which makes people wanna complain
They’re more than likely making an expansion like dark arisen, I just hope it comes with more places to visit, new monsters, mystic knight, and optional co-op.

Honestly, even just a 2p multiplayer would be nice, 2 arisen and 2 pawns, we already know more than 1 arisen can exist in the same world at the same time (I.E the several NPC's you meet along the way)
Would be cool to get to go to a more japanese inspired world instead of just European and Middle Eastern.
Not being co op was my only complaint about the first one and this one.
More enemies, more weapons and armor to strive for, some level of endgame to run through like Bitterblack Isle and I’d buy easy. If they want to drop a new country to explore and maybe a couple new vocations as well, then that’s just icing on the cake.
DD2 DLC: 'Rise Of The Frame Rates'
I really haven't had much studdering on PS5 that was very noticeable, but if FPS can improve thats good.
The game was absolutely released too soon (like literally every game now a days) but doesn't matter what testing there was we should ABSOLUTELY still give them that it's the first ever open world game on the RE engine an it has ZERO load times. Not to mention the team was only lime 400 ppl which is CRAZY low for a triple A team now a days. I'm not excusing any of its performance issues. I'm just saying that itsunos team did an amazing job with the time they were given an don't want to see this team punished or worse not allowed to make DD3 someday, hopefully not 10 years away either

We do, it wasnt good back then either. I guess nobody remembers that DD1 one was a mess of a game just as this one and only become somewhat popular after they fixed their shit with Dark Arisen.
2:42 imma be honest it all comes down to their decision to have the game a variable frame rate. Sure they now have the game at a set frame rate for consoles but that is so poorly optimised that it’s actually better to play on Variable

I'm def still playing it, on my first playthrough and I LOVE IT. I love that it's not so gear/wep focused so much that it truly is easy to swap vocations and try them all. Prb my fav feature of the game.
Yeah all the vocations are fun and OP in their own unique way. I didn’t play/find my favourite until NG+

They do. There's a whole wild ass story behind everything. If you've played and beat the first one things make sense but still this one blows my mind. All the people bitching about the story line and ending doesnt understand the actual things going on in the game and the different endings explains things better depending on what you've done. Games a masterpiece

They should do what techland does, and promise a 5 year commitment to bring new content, enemies, weapons, regions, etc
Mystic knight and certain return of skills like arc of obliteration would be nice if dlc is made

Does the specialization for a pawn change the way it performs in combat assuming the gear was the same before and after?
Should be inclination that affects their combat behavior, not specialization. Your pawn also tends to copy your behavior.

Yeah, odds are that there's not going to be an update for multiple save slots. As, even DD1 has only one save. Which I get fits narratively, but it is a bit of a bother sometimes.
Im so happy for the developers too! The first one was amazing and was on my 10th play-through and couldn’t wait another day for the new one to come out. I hope they come out with something like bbi dark arisen.
It’s slightly repetitive but it’s a heck of a lot of fun.
I didn’t play 1, but am truly having fun with 2.
And the character designer is absolutely insane. My main Pawn is legitimately Daenerys Targaryen. Looks identical to her.

It's obvious they'll make a dlc for it. Hopefully something similar to Bitterback, or something that takes place in a snow covered area. I feel we should have gotten that in this part, but that doesn't mean we won't possibly later.

Bitterblack Isle should have been part of the main game and Hydra not being in the game when it was the 3rd most regogniced monster from dogma 1 after Grigori and Chimera.
The game also has 2 snake monsters so you cant use the Skeleton was too hard to work with argument.
They need to first fix the fps issues on pc I’m using a high end pc and the fps is still all over the place

PC is not the highest priority for Capcom. They are a console publisher first and foremost and it runs fine on PS 5

We are having 2024 and they cant afford 60 fps on consoles while its a fcking standard right now.

No matter how good the game is (but it it) they wont get much credit from delivering unfinished product for the full prize.
You’re “high end pc” is probably more high end on the gpu side instead of the cpu side.

The fact Bitterblack wasent here on release is a crime.
Need something like the everfall or bitterblack that we can continously do runs through.
Need notice board quests that function like skyrim radiant quests, that send us to locations we haven't been to yet on that playthrough.
The DLC better fix all the issues before I even think of buying the main game.
Over 100 hrs and on NG+ and they better make dlc or an expansion for this game, it's hard to stop playing
There's an npc that tells you how there's a man who keeps taking a boat out to sea everyday only to wash back to shore from the brine each time; the man says there's a land beyond the sea and that he will reach it.
Kinda strange since I thought brine kills all but the Arisen.
you are missing pieces of the puzzle fam :v You will have fun with the "true ending" and understanding who this man trully is XD
One of my biggest complaints is how the main story felt bare bones yet there were sidequests that are very enjoyable
Another is how quickly you become more powerful than most enemies while it makes sense for smaller foes I found myself slaying cyclopes minotaurs and ogres in under 5 minutes
On the subject of combat the implementation of new vocations was done well however the limitation of only having 4 skills while only being able to wield only one weapon makes your options in battle seem limited

Tbf that can feel problematic with a lot of open world games - so much side shit, it overwhelms the main story.
The main story was so strange. First it’s unraveling Disas plot but when you make it to the 2nd area you never hear about it again and then in the end you’re helping Sven have his mother see reason for evacuating like what

@@mogreturns2868 I beat the game. It still felt like an underwhelming narrative experience. Not that the first game was strong in that regard either. I think it’s in desperate need of dlc. (Seriously why is the “final boss” completely scripted)
Last year Baulders gate 3 this year Dragons Dogma 2 and Soon Dragon Age Dreadwolf, as a bonus just started DA Inquisition and loving that also Party Based RPG nirvana as I just turned 65, looking forward to retirement Golfing and Playing these Fantastic RPGs thank god I can experience the Middle Ages without the risk of the black plague dying from a bug bite or being burned at the steak for saying the earth is round.
I'm kind of hoping the Dragon's Dogma 2 get some monster hunter collaboration and stuff because I want to rock some Rathalos armor and the giant ass katana. If street fighter v and exoprimal get the crossover events, dragon's dogma 2 should get it too.
I hope they change the warfarer and give them an r1 slot for abilities like dd1 had for other classes.
There's plenty of content that exists in the game as it sits. I've had a really busy 70 hours in game so far.. It would be great if my modern hardware could run it over 30fps.. That would be great. lol

I'm running 1440p @60 fps with a 12th gen i5, Nvidia 3060ti, and 16gb ram settings maxed, no dlss. Maybe your build isn't as modern as you think? Not saying there aren't optimization issues, but..

How many new monster types? There’s no way that’s real considering the base game had like 15 enemy types half of which were re-skins.
I love this game but my only complaint is that it’s like walking simulator in early game although maybe that changes eventually but like that’s it the combat and everything else is amazing

Loving the game, really hoping for more enemy variety in future updates and expansions. Fighting the same bandits,saurians, and goblins over and over gets stale after a little while

Honestly if they removed the dragon plague or at least made a setting to toggle it off. OR EVEN AT LEAST a way to cure it without having to slaughter your party… I would have absolutely no complaints about the game

Guys,, just mod enemy HP to x8 and 2-3x boss hp, then add 2x received damage and harder to stagger monsters. The enjoyment from encounters will be 2-3 times betrter. New ways to play the game. Resource planning , strategizing, creating new builds new team combos etc.

Yeah having multiple save will make different pawns in the severs. If you delete your save on console or proble any console that pawn will be unavailable to change or accessible. Do not do that. It will just be confusing among friends. The game is to massive for that kinda bs.
