Besides, would you want to explain that arrest while the whole precinct will now have a "Cop Cutie" video circulating?...lol! Nolan knew when he had been defeated, it was time to walk away.
I love how Nolan accepted his defeat and just walked away.

I laughed as soon as this episode started because I said that house looks familiar and when the garage rolled up I knew it.
But the walk away was great because he knows there is nothing he can do. The band called in the noise complaint, they are trolling him. He can't do anything and Nolan knows it too. They are not breaking noise complaint because of time of day.
Of all the things that has happened to him on this show, this is his true nemesis

The fact that the episode didn't end with Sgt Grey secretly hiring them to play at Nolan's wedding, despite them legitimately setting it up perfectly with his DJ getting arrested is one of the biggest missed opportunities in television history.

What if when he retires his last call is a dispatch for disturbing the peace. He assumes it’s gonna be them cause it’s the same street, he goes out and they’re not there. He waits in anticipation for them, even knocks on their door to ask about the dispatch. The band isn’t there but instead it’s the band leaders wife and she says they aren’t there.
He goes back, sitting in his police car at the station reminiscing on his days there. He signs out one last time, opens the door, gets out the car…. 🎶Is that a Paton in your pocket or you just happy to see me 🎶
