How do you “slide” to the back?

Does the stitch look different if you wrap the yarn in the opposite direction before pulling it through?

Yes. It makes the stitch twisted. if you want to correct it , on the next row, knit through the back leg of the stitch.

Hi Bill, I have found your tutorials the most helpful of any I’ve seen. I was wondering for a leftie, which type Continental vs English? Right now I’m using the English method, but I’ve heard with the Continental there’s no action of lifting your hand to bring the yarn over the needle, is that correct and is it faster than Englis?
