This is an authentic Ewe music. As good as Bobobo is, it's a Europeanized form of singing style that's derived from Christian tunes. THIS AN AUTHENTIC EWE MUSIC! 👍🏾👏🏾
True, true. I just wished the musicians worked harder in composing new lyrics instead of always copying and pasting from Christian hymn books. There are however composers in some groups who demonstrate great skills in composing authentic lyrics.
This music binds 3 countries together. This is our common heritage, so let us continue to cherish and propagate it. Imagine an annual or bi-annual festival of Ewe Music organized alternatively in Benin/Dahome, Togodo and Western Togodo. Eteƒe makɔ o.
The culture and the tradition is not only 3 countries please. I know you refer it Ghana, Togo and Bennie. But you have forgotten Nigeria, Liberia, part of Cameron ,Sudan, Gambia and the northern part of Ghana.just to mention a few.
@@wisdomblasu8279 I am NOT sure if you have understood the context of the message. Why haven't you included Sierra Leone, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso .... for more inclusion? There is not only ONE culture and ONE tradition in Africa.

The ewes of West Africa (Western Nigeria, Benin or Dan homey, Togo and Ghana are authentic Jews that descended from the tribe of Dan. Look on the internet and u wld see that the totem of the Dannited is the Snake. So the original name for Benin is Danhomey, translated as the home of Dan. With time, different dialects of the ewe language developed but the same drum language runs through all the West African Jews of the tribe of Dan. God bless us all.
