Hm, the second concern still feels weird to me. To marry your wife and then tell her that you see her as a sister? There's something behind that... 🤔 He also didn't give a good enough reason.

He got married at an early age and had his first kid when he was 22, along with financial struggle as well.. He probably doesnt wanna go thru the same again.. The first time he didn't plan or think for the future, which made him suffer. So I believe he's trying to be cautious to not repeat it again

Wives do come on this show so their husbands will feel shame, they cant force their husbands to got to therapy, been there done that and still nothing, the husbands shld be publicly shamed so theu would understand what they are doing is wrong and fix it
The first guy really is a piece of work.... he reminds me of my father a lil bit. Mine does the same only however he remembers but doesn't apologise and expects everyone and everything to be normal the next day.

I'm not trying to sound mean or anything but the second concern to me the guy sound like he has another woman on the side. His wife is gorgeous and the fact that he doesn't want to touch her, he pushes her away when she tries to show affection to him, and to top it off he said "she's like a sister to him"!. I really hope I'm wrong and he's not cheating because I would feel so bad bad for his wife. It's better for her to leave than be in a marriage where a guy is not attracted to her and doesn't want to touch her because he sees her as a sister.

sumaya mohamed Honestly I also don't really want to see more of those concerns but on the other hand it only means that most of the families are suffering from those concerns and that alcohol addiction seems to be a really serious problems and that's why they should continue featuring these concerns
Well alcoholism is a problem in SK so it's a good thing that they talk about it since most people refuse to go to therapy! Tbh I'm sick of hearing the same stories over and over again but this is the reality! Should they ignore people who write in asking for help?

I know it's frustrating and they should go to counselling but the first concern showed me that the person has to see it's a problem first. I feel like this show is sometimes a good first step, like you have a problem quit dodging it ain't just your wife who thinks so.
Although, having said that, I am sick of the drinking concerns.

Yes, this story is very close and familiar to me and if the man at this age does not realize that he needs help then probably he wont change. For the woman it probably made a huge difference when her children were not grown ups yet. She could not just pack her things and leave. And who knows how he begged her back in the past. Now the best thing for her would be moving on from this guy...
Lol the husband in the second concern definitely doesn't work from 10am to 3am.....you can tell from his face that he was lying. damnnn

The second concern doesn't make any sense at all. When they were telling the story before she came out I was thinking, well maybe she didn't lose all the pregnancy weight and he's less attracted to her, but damn was I wrong, that girl is drop dead gorgeous with a fantastic figure. I can understand being tired after working late but saying you see her as your sister is just bizarre. Even if he really doesn't want a second kid, he could still have sex with her with some birth control. I think there's an issue the guy isn't telling us that's the real reason for his behavior.

The guy in the second concern works from 10 a.m to 3 a.m? He has only like 8 hours free & considering that he'll sleep at that time, he won't even have time to look at his wife. Maybe his co-workers should've been there to talk if he really had to work that long? Isn't there restriction on how many hours a week a person can work under a company?

in this episode a wife is frustrated at her husband's drinking habits.the next concern comes from a house wife whom craves for her husbands attention however how can she if he pushes her away? the last concern is a wifes concern of her husbands unhealthy obsession of night fishing.

ok but can the addicts not turn to Hello counselor for help? they need actual help, being on tv won’t be that good for them at all. it comes with shame to the family (in Korea, family issues should be/are generally solved inside the family)and, sometimes a lot of bad comments online. It’d be much better to go to a therapist or something without exposing yourself on national tv because at the end of the day, it doesn’t help. It’s just embarrassment at this point.
being publicly shame is one of the best solutions for them at this point.

There is something really weird about the 2nd Concern. I mean he doesn't even want to touch his own wife?? They gave that man an easy pass tbh
Hodo K yeah either he is cheating , gay or fallen out of love. I think it is sad to end a marriage but worse to stay in an unhappy one.
I don't think it's that serious. He seemed genuine about the fact that he's become dulled by working hard. He spends 7 hours at home, so it's natural for him to be tired & want to sleep before he goes back to work, whereas he was more free & had less responsibility before they got married. Maybe he's annoyed at the fact that he works all day so coming to see her at home comfortable repels him (despite the fact that raising kids is hard af). He also didn't object to hugging her in front of other people, he has an awkward nature & doesn't express himself well so that may also play into it. I just hope he soon realizes that his wife will also lose affection for him if he doesn't express his love, & that he can't wait to become successful for him to be affectionate towards her.
I think he restrained himself from doing that. Because they have child at a young age and the guy has to work extra hard to support the family. I think he's afraid that if he's affectionate towards his wife, the wife might get pregnant again and he has to work exxtraa hard

Listening to the third concern and immediately thinking of my dad who just now went to an overnight trip for fishing. My dad is also sooo addicted to fishing, I can relate to the woman's concern
Whenever my dad come home from fishing he smells fishy and his clothes are so dirty and brings with him fishes that smells so bad which is the worst thing in the whole issue, and just watches fishing shows on TV.Moreover, he buys a very expensive equipments for fishing. My mom always argue with him about this but at least my brothers are very close to him and always goes with him cause they became addicted to it too😑😂

I really think alcohol/drinking is a sickness in society. The harm far outweighs the benefits, it's used as an unhealthy way to self-medicate, not to mention binge drinking, impaired driving, domestic abuse, so much destruction. As this show has shown over & over again, it tears families apart. It's a shame that it's such a vital part of Korean (& Western) social life.

all the concerns about husbands being alcoholics, it's useless to come to this show honestly! alcoholism isn't something you cure just because you decide to drink less like they always suggest on this show especially in an extreme case like this one. he's been drinking like that for 24years, he won't stop unless he goes to rehab! South Korea's issues with alcoholism are so serious yet so normalized
I think her main reason appearing in this show is for everyone around the neighbourhood to watch this show , understand her problem and create an environment that will force him to stop drinking
Aisyah Sayang : same, i thought so too. I think everyone knew that this is not a place to cure alcoholism but actually to state the truth about one circumstances. Like this case, everyone will know that the husband is alcoholic, he maybe concern about other ppl thought then he himself became self aware and quit drinking.
1st Concern: Get a divorce, lady. He's proven he can't change, and as you get older habits are almost impossible to get rid off.
2nd Concern: He's either cheating, or she really doesn't receive the financial stress he is going through. He probably doesn't want to put her through it if that's the case.
3rd Concern: Their hobbies don't seem to match, him liking scenery, peaceful hobby.
All I can suggest to these couples is divorce...
Same idea on suggesting them getting divorce. That’s why I never wanted to get married. I have seen most case where there is arguing and fighting. I don’t like that type of atmosphere, I would rather to be single to not have this kind of atmosphere for the rest of my life.
