so as far as power on the surron, ive been riding surrons for a little over a year now and in my opinion, stock surron just has the nicest smoothest feeling in the throttle and power curve, so what im doing and what id reccomend to you is going with just a 66V chi battery because youll gain 648 watts leaving you at a total of 5,832 watts whereas stock surron is 5,184 watts, but on top of that youll gain range aswell, and then if it still doesnt feel good to you then just up your sprocket to a 54 for example and thatll lead you to getting a nice non o ring 420 renthal chain, and even 17in supermotos (wich i have) will also give you a LITTLE bit of a more torquey feeling, so ya to summerize: my reccomendation is go 66V keep your stock controller, if you want more torque, grab supermotos and a 54T sprocket with a nice chain, because stock chain is very stiff, so that route will gain you power, torque, and range, without needing to buy a thousand dollar controller, also side note: bigger sprockets increase range, so if you go for a bigger sprocket and bigger battery your range will increase DRAMATICALLY.
Thanks so much man! Really enjoy making them. Just have to find some more topics to discuss so I don’t get super bland. Might try some off-roading/small jumps for the next surron video 😧
Give it about a week or so, I'd be down to meet up. I'm running a BAC4000 and 60v 55AH batt, both by Emotobros that you can try out, might help in your decision making.
