It sounds like the vortex column only accepts the stud on one side unlike the outdoorsman’s... so basically they copied it but still built a worse product
Brady Thank You for taking time share your knowledge. You can't keep what you got unless you give it away. You take alot pride in all you do. Your a true Blessings for the go hunt team Bless you Big Shooter
The more I have thought about this video and the comments, the more I have come to a realization. Vortex's entire business model is that of a "Dead Ringer" company. Almost every major product they have come out with is intended to look the same as another companies product. Almost all of their binoculars and rifles scopes and spotting scopes are mirror images of products that Swarovski had prior. Even down the the colors. I like Vortex's warranty and customer support, but if you were expecting anything different, well you weren't remembering their business model.
Hi Ian! That’s one that Brady got with his Peak Design camera gear. But any arca swiss model will work just fine. Another great option Brady has used a lot and uses currently is either the Sirui TY 70A plate or the Sirui TY 50 Pro. shop.gohunt.com/collections/sirui/products/sirui-ty-70a-quick-release-plate shop.gohunt.com/collections/sirui/products/sirui-ty-50-arca-swiss-type-pro-quick-release-plate

I love my Vortex Binos, but they are smoking crack with their price of this adapter. Over $60 is crazy. I bought an off brand version just like these for $14 and it came with a second stud to attach to a second pair of binos.
I’m having trouble trying to figure out how to remove the threaded stud from the adapter post. I’m worried that if I torque something too hard I might damage the product…
Hey, thanks for reaching out! The bino case Brady is using in the video is the Marsupial Enclosed Binocular Pack. Find it here in our Gear Shop: shop.gohunt.com/products/marsupial-gear-enclosed-binocular-pack
Great question, right now the adapter is $69.99 on the GOHUNT Gear Shop! Here's a link to check it out: shop.gohunt.com/products/vortex-pro-binocular-adapter?_pos=1&_psq=vortex&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Sure, let's act like this type of gear hasn't been around for years . Vortex charging the same money for an inferior product is even more laughable. If you buy this, better buy TWO because the first is sure to fail.
Real comment: what is the tripod setup in this video including the pan head? Also, what a bunch of whiners (below). You now have more options. Boohoo. I thought the hunting community was supposed to NOT be a bunch of keyboard warriors.
Outdoorsmans...I know you guys are trying to sell product, but it looks Disingenuous when there's a better product and everyone knows Brady probably used it for a while before shilling the Vortex copy. And I'm a big fan of Vortex products, but Outdoorsmans adapters and studs are just clearly better and made in USA.
So basically vortex stole the outdoorsmans adapter system
Looks identical to the Outdoorsmans....
Sweet! The outdoorsmans bino adapter you get to warranty every year! Innovation never rests. 🤦♂️
Ahhh the old if you can’t beat them.. join them approach.
This thing works! Ive looks at a million things now with my binos on my tripod using this system
Yeah that’s totally the outdoorsman’s binocular attachment

Looks familiar. Love my Outdoorsman Mount.
Knock off of the outdoorsman. How innovative.
Why act like you have never heard of the outdoorsman? Just title the video "Vortex bino adapter just like outdoorsmans"
Good video Sir.
Lesson 1..
Check all gear nite before any trip & double check in morning.
Result = less heartbreak.
Will it fit the outdoorsman stud?
That’s what I want to know too.
Does the plate work with any tripod system?
Great Video, $69 mount for my $239 Diamodbacks? Steep on the pricing. Likely worth the money.
How do you remove the cap covering the tripod adapter socket?
Its alot like the Bushnell adapter to
What adaptor do I need to get the stud to fit into my new Swarovski nl 12x42.
Can someone help me. I need a table height 10 to 14 inch bipod that will work with this setup but not sure what adapters or plates I need with it
I'll keep the uni, the 30 seconds to swap it doesn't seem to be a big issue and I don't have to worry about forgetting or losing the extra piece.
Ya so that’s definitely the Outdoorsmans
Can you provide a link for the arca-Swiss plate you use on the base of the bino adapter. Thank you!

@@GOHUNT In other words, he doesn't know...
Does this work on swarovski slc 15x56?
Why hasn't someone come up with a quick connect system for this??

Disregard, I just figured it out.

@@GOHUNT thanks man appreciate it
It's a real bummer I can't put this on my Swarovski el 10x42's
Would be nice if it just had an arca base, instead of having to buy another plate
Brady is a killer and an awesome hunter, but I have to wonder if he just kept thinking outdoorsmans, outdoorsmans, outdoorsmans....
Sure, let's act like this type of gear hasn't been around for years . Vortex charging the same money for an inferior product is even more laughable. If you buy this, better buy TWO because the first is sure to fail.
Seriously! Charging the same price for that is like copying someone’s homework including their name. I’m starting to think differently about vortex.
Nice 👍🏻
What kind of Optics Arca-Swiss plate are you using?
