chiv 2
Hey, makes sense! Thanks for watching!
Kingdom come deliverance
@joshuabarry4989 I reeeeallllyyy need to play this game. You gonna play 2?
Kingdom come deliverance is the best squat gains sim ever.
I’m rep 800 on for honor and have played since launch and can tell you I’ve never felt more accomplished to say I have developed several life altering mental illnesses because of it, Would recommend.
Hahahahaha, this is hilarious.
What would you say is the most toxic thing that’s ever happened to you in this game?
@ I don’t remember when the game was fun
Hahahaha, I respect that. That’s how I feel about Rocket League
@PolarBearProblems great vid but I'll say that FH added it's first battle pass like 4 years after the game released!
Oh really? Thats not too bad! What was the game like before the battle passes?
The trick to For Honor is understanding there is nothing too low an Orochi wouldn't do
So I need to stoop to their level?
@@PolarBearProblems that could work. But if you over come a basement dwelling roach main that do hit better than sex.
skill issuessssss
Damn… I need a new drug, I guess it might be For Honor.
@@overheatedeskim054 It really is because I'm still on the XB1S 💀
Everyone that plays For Honor absolutely hates it, lol. I’d know, I’ve played since year 1
Haha, I’m getting that vibe for sure. I could spend hours just reading the steam reviews
@@PolarBearProblems yeah they love to hate it but can't stop playing. I would know been playing since beta.
They hate on it, but can't stop playing
@@overheatedeskim054same bruh
A tip against Orochi.
When Orochi puts their sword behind them in a low stance and runs at you, thats called Storm Rush. It has no hyper armor and takes longer than you think to come out. Which means you should have time to simply attack into it so long as you think you have enough range.
Holy… you just changed the trajectory of my for armor life.
Thank you.
just one problem.....roaches can feint that into a guardbreak if you try and parry, or just feint into parrying YOUR attack. It's honestly a pretty safe attack, especially against old gen console players (which are.....a good chunk of the FH playerbase).
@@sgtdipaolo
Fortunately for Bear he's new. Most Orochi's he faces wont be well accustomed to using storm rush as bait. They'll probably just spam it because they expect it to work.
Damn. There’s so many levels to this shit haha
I have been playing this game since 2017 , i love it regardless of how painful sometimes it may get. try the hero tactics in training section it will help you alot in understanding the game and the capabilities of your chosen hero.
Ohhhh hell yeah! Will be checking that out!
For honor is a unique honestly one of a kind game that once you learn it, it’s not easy to put down. I’ve played both and both are fun however I will admit there is a reason for honor has stood the test of time and is still here it stomps any other game like it. It’s like Modern warfare for me it’s fun and mannnn are there days you get destroyed in matches but you just cant walk away from this mentality abusive relationship
Haha, I hope that the For Honor therapy is covered in your insurance.
But I can see why people love this game. Winning a close fight is soooooo satisfying. You feel so badass.
Also, thanks for watching!
4:04 Remembering how to block for your first fight vs nuxia.... oh god.
Hahahaha, LOOK! I’m trying my hardest, but I’m a dumbass
@@PolarBearProblems Its not that you are dumb, Nuxia has trap catches for people that try to parry or block or crushing counter. And it was your first fight. I've been there🤣
Dawg, hats off for trying that game, getting started after year 8 is crazy tho. You on console or pc?
I actually have it for both. I already had it downloaded on console, and it was $5 on PC.
Definitely feeling it being year 8 though… haha.
Thanks for watching!
@@PolarBearProblemsplay with a controller.
Huh?
definitely recommend for honor, I love the game, unlike most other people who seem to have played it as long as I have XD. Just remember to play to have fun, don't get too competitive with it, makes the game much more enjoyable.
Yeah that’s definitely how I play games. I only rage for humor, I’m never actually upset!
What’s you favorite game mode?
Hope to see more for honor from ya
Somewhat new to multiplayer games but so far it's easily the most time ive put into any. Its not honestly that hard just don't drop it and take every death as a learning experience
Whenever you get a main you like don't be afraid to watch some high level gameplay of em, super helpful for learning
This is a genius idea. Any channels with good tips and tricks?!
@@PolarBearProblems HavokYT for high level warden gameplay. FreezeYT for general knowledge and Marco Yolo for a good updated beginner tutorial (the one in game barely scratches the surface)
Welcome to the game and have fun my dude!
Oh hell yeah! Thanks for the recommendations! I’ll definitely be checking them out later!
Your new challenge is to become a For Honor channel and not lose your mind. I have like 1,500 hours in this game and keep coming back to it like a toxic ex.
For Honor is an addiction
I feel like I would quit my channel In 100 days. Definitely want to make another video on it though! Any goals I should set that you think are good progress for a beginner?
Also, thanks for watching!
@@PolarBearProblems The biggest tip I would have for a beginner is learn which characters have soft feigns, pick one, and learn them well! You will need to learn what soft feigns are and how to use them, some of the characters I use with soft feigns are Kensei, Valkyrie, Jiang Jun, and Zhanhu!
I'd be more than glad to show you the ropes a bit in a private match sometime !
Hell yes! I just made a discord channel for it! Join in if you want! discord.gg/jHMc9g32fr
@@PolarBearProblems next time you play go into the hero tactics, you can learn a lot from doing them, you should also set your dead zone to zero so you can black better.
@@PolarBearProblems next time you play go into the hero tactics, you can learn a lot from doing them, you should also set your dead zone to zero so you can black better.
Im only rep 14 on for honor and it can be frustrating at times, like when the opponent spams a certain move, 1v2ing in duels, and emote spamming, it can also have some of the highest highs like finally killing someone who’s been spamming you
Oh yeah I imagine. But to be fair, that’s just multiplayer gaming in general!haha
300+ reps on For Honor just bought chivalry 2 in the christmas sales I like chivalry but the combat in for honor is unmatched
The combat is super fun. I wish there was a whole single player rpg that had that style of combat honestly.
Bro I played for honor on release and the moment I came across an infinite combo (on nobushi) I was like yeah, this game is not for me. I will not enjoy people destroying me with random ahh infinite combos I don't even have an idea about yet, and I just started. Imagine people who grind it 24/7 know, that I don't. That was like 7ish years ago. Don't even wanna think what the skill cap is today haha. Anywho, awesome vid, and awesome outfits, super fun watch. Leaving comms for the algo
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!!
Yeah, it was brutal, and I’ve only played a couple hours now, so we’ll see how often stuff like that happens. For me it’s all about the cheater to regular player ratio. If there’s too many cheaters… I’ll probably have to put it down too! Haha
@@PolarBearProblems for honor cheats I haven’t really heard of, there’s nothing like god mode or other things, but I have heard of scripts for parrying, deflecting.
Ahhh that makes sense. Perfect deflect everything would piss me off though hahaha
Orochi is a bit of a trial by fire for new players. Either you get sick of their random bs go playstyle, or you train and learn how to block them. You will still get mulched by the good ones who actually throw in a heavy or two, but the ones who rely on their speed will look real stupid when you kick their crutch out from under them. And hell, if that doesnt make the time and effort worth it.
Ahhh interesting. How do you stop them?
Thanks for watching!
@@PolarBearProblems Training your reflexes to block is a thing that you will get over time, getting used to flicking to the red attack indicators and character animations.
For Orochi in particular, keeping your guard on the right side by default will help protect against his super fast zone attack.
Additionally, for light spam in particular, you are able to side dodge out of a light-light combo even if you are hit by the first part by mashing dodge unless the attack has undodgeable properties (which is signified by a blue aura sort of visual). Though if the Orochi knows how to play, he may anticipate that.
Another thing to know, frame advantage. Essentially, if you have high FA, if you and your opponent presses the same speed attack at the same time, yours will hit first. If Orochi ends their attack chain with a light attack finisher, if you are mashing light and he goes for another light attack after, you will either hit first or at the same time, interrupting him and setting you both neutral.
These are just a few bits of knowledge off the top of my head. For Honor doesn't have a learning curve so much as a scribble, with new stuff coming out all the time. I have over 2200 hours and still have more to learn. So long as you have a mindset to be improving yourself and not take every single match seriously, you will enjoy the game a lot longer. Good luck.
Hole. EEE. Shit. That’s a lot haha. What would you suggest practicing first?
@@PolarBearProblems I'd say take your time and get into the headspace that progress will take a bit.
2 things to work on.
1. Learn how to fight all the characters. Not necessarily all the stats and combos, but basic dangers and tricks they can pull and their animations so you can react faster and learn blocking faster.
2. Learn a small number of characters that fits your playstyle. Get some comfort picks who you think are fun. You can test each character in the training arena with specific exercises for their different moves, inputs and mixups before you unlock them.
Awesome! Will do, thanks so much!
Fh had its first battle pass in year 4
Oh interesting! Thats a while!
@PolarBearProblems Came out before the whole F2P, Battle Royale, Battle pass craze. That's why.
Ahh fair enough!
@@PolarBearProblems Also For honor is not pay to win. You earn currency from challenges and playing the game.
Ive been on for honor since yhe alpha and beta im happy to see it get some more recognition! Aramusha and Nuxia all day lol
It’s funny, I bought the game on original release and liked it! But then life got in the way. I’m glad I finally found my way back to it.
Thanks for watching!!
Bro started having for honor toxicity language in his first fights, you know a game is dangerous mentally when new players speak like former gamere
Haha I got it from play online multiplayer for 25 years
Considering that I can't really think of any other medieval combat games, uh, these two? 😂
Seriously, though, this was a fun watch. I might have to check out that merch store, too. 👀
I appreciate all the support, and you watching and commenting on all my videos man! It definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.
But as far as Medieval combat games, I like Hellish Quart and Half Sword too. But these are way more fleshed out.
And I’m working on more merch stuff. The T Shirts weren’t up to the quality I wanted, but the hoodie is suppppper nice (but a little pricey, fuckin dropshipping)
Yeah learning forhonor is like putting your balls in a toaster unless someone tells you or trains you how to play then it’s ok
Damn. I think the hardest part would be finding a toaster with a wide enough opening to get both your balls in it!
Im down to play for honor. Thr first time you come across someone genuinely amazing is something youve yet to experience but my god does it inspire you. Like coming across someone who can efficiently antigank you
Oooohhhh yeah I can’t even imagine. That’s like anything that takes skill, in games or real life. The first time you see someone incredible, you’re like, “Oh THAT’S what it’s supposed to look like!”
I made this channel for for honor, and we can link up there!

@@PolarBearProblems aye sounds good I'll see you there
Hell yeah!!
"Almost immediately was plagued by battle passes" you mean year 4?
I didn’t know it was year 4. That’s my bad.
Do Team Objective mode in Chiv. Its the gamemode I feel the game was designed around
I will be checking it out for sure! What makes you feel like that is THE game mode?
Also, thanks for watching!
@@PolarBearProblems It's not divided up into rounds like Last Team Standing (which is a limited time available queue Torn Banner puts up occasionally), maps are larger, there's stuff like catapults and ballista you can use, objects you can throw at enemies to do damage (default key for throwing anything including your weapon is G if you didn't figure that out already), while playing for the objective fights can get funneled into super chaotic chokepoints, it's definitely a different experience than the last team standing stuff. The 40-player public queue also has a few Team Deathmatch (like the Battle of Wardenglade) maps in the rotation, and many of the maps feature mounted combat, the 64-player one has neither of these but more max players each side.
If you liked For Honor's 1v1 system, try the Social servers in the standalone server/server browser section, they're basically free for all servers that function as free-flowing 1v1 arenas with some unofficial/unwritten rules. Lots of very good duelers to be found, so be mindful of who you challenge to a duel.
Also, if you don't intend to communicate through chat you might want to just turn it off, just a heads up. Ranges from completely silent to racist, neo-nazi tirades, and isn't really used to coordinate anything. Team coordination, if it happens at all, happens through pre-formed teams that chat via voice comms.
You have also got to play for honor's story mode.
Definitely on my to do list!
Ive played since beta and gone on and on and broke 6 controllers and 3 keyboards and as a rep 300 on console and rep 844 on PC best game to play for relaxtion
Haha, do you usually feel better after breaking? Or just shame?!
A nice bubble bath, glass of wine, and for honor.
@@PolarBearProblems more like oh great I need to buy another keyboard or controller
Haha that’s fair!
Chivalry 2 IS the best medieval sword fighting game, no doubt about it.
@@sassystoner you know… I think you might be right…
@@PolarBearProblems I have 2.5k hours in it for a reason!
@ oh hell yeah! Favorite tips for a newbie?
@@PolarBearProblemstake it easy, have fun - the game is designed around dying not being frustrating (you respawn fast, at a full sprint, battlecrying with your team)
use your emotes and stuff to get immersed and goof around
try new playstyles - every weapon plays differently, and every mechanic (jabbing, kicking, accelerating/dragging, etc etc) has almost endless complexity, while still being super easy to get to grips with the basics
team objective is the best place to learn the game, community duel servers are the best place to realise you know nothing at all and start learning all over again!
this game can be played very seriously at the highest level with an almost unlimited skill ceiling, but at the same time it’s so easy to just join a 32v32, pick up a big axe and SWING
@ awesome! Thanks so much for the in depth comment! I’m excited to play more. I might even try and get a group together to play!
For honor is so toxic that I still play it
I get it. Energy drinks are toxic and I still drink those like they’re going out of style.
your missing out play exanima best combat ive seen in a medieval game
Is that the one that uses mouse movements?!
I can train you.

I started this channel to talk for honor! We can plan there!
"It's was almost immediately plagued by battlepass" completely false Passes didn't arrive until year 4 buddy and all of those negative reviews are kinda like meme's reviews people absolutely hate For Honor but can't stop playing it. I think of FH as the multiplayer to Dark Souls
Okay buddy. Thanks for watching!
I kinda figured it’s just like Rocket League in that way.
For honor has gone the way of r6 in recent years, there is no more of the original identity and atmosphere of the game.
And the nail in the coffin was the destiny 2 skins just released 😂
What do you think changed so much?
And wait… they released Destiny 2 skins?!? Hahahaha
I’m rep 500 in for honor and would say do not download the game unless your gonna want to have a mental illness
Sure, let’s just add one to the list!
good shit
Preciate it! Thanks for watching!
for honor is the best im rep 100 i love that game#
Hell yeah! What’s your main?
For Honor IS the best medieval sword fighting game, there's no doubt about it. But at base level (the level you play at), it seems unrealistic, clunky, and boring. I have countless hours on many medieval sword fighting games, and once you really learn the mechanics of For Honor, it truly shines as the undefeated champion. Those who say otherwise are mad cuz bad. Put time in For Honor, you won't regret it.
Ahhh nice! I will say, I didn’t ge the feeling that it was unrealistic, clunky, or boring, I could just tell that I was almost always wildly outmatched. I’m definitely going to play more of the PvE modes to get some of the more advanced moves down!
Any suggestions on your favorite classes? Or tips for a newbie?
@@PolarBearProblems The wildly outmatched statement is definitely true, happened to me when I first started. One mistake that people have when getting into For Honor is that they think the game is like Half Sword, pure swinging and wild combat. For Honor is based entirely on a term called "reads" or "reading", essentially, you have to predict what your opponent is going to do. Which is very hard for beginners, so take your time, and do not look over the training arena, it helped me immensely when I was learning. Character wise, for a beginner with only the base heroes (the heroes you already have unlocked), Raider or Shugoki would be good options.
P.S., Hellish Quarts story mode with Jacek is finished, have a look at it!
@ ahhh that makes sense. So it’s more of a counter-attacking style of fighting? But I will for sure check out those 2 hero’s!
- HELL YES! I love Hellish Quart, I’m gonna have to go give it a playthrough!
@@PolarBearProblems No, no, not at all! While there's certainly different ways of playing the game, you can be as offensive or defensive as you want. Reads are all sorts of different things, not just defensive. I would recommend watching For Honor UA-camrs to improve your skill. Havok is definitely the best content creator, but also Walooosh if you want a taste of different playstyles. He hosts tournaments with many of the best For Honor players in the world! Just be warned, he's a bit loud.
Also, if you're playing on a console in this game, you might want to turn on "Performance Mode" in your settings, as well as turning your FOV up all the way.
@ ahhh okay! Thank you so much for all the tips! I’m excited to learn more!
I’ve heard the level 3 bots are brutal, so being them is probably the first metric I’ll shoot for haha
Chiv 2 is the Goat. I'll play with you whenever. Im on console though.
Lamb_of_Zam#4657
Hell yeah! Is there cross platform?
@PolarBearProblems not sure how to party up, but yeah the game is definitely cross platform
@ hell yeah. Hit me up on discord and we can figure it out.
@@PolarBearProblems Cross-platform partying is available, but it can be rather finicky to make work at times, so be aware of that.
@ ahhhh okay! Thanks for the heads up!
Count yourself lucky that you didn't play For Honor's campaign! It's probably one of the worst thing a beginner can do because the campaign hasn't been updated at all, which means every Hero is FAR slower and some have way different movesets than what they have in the live game.
With 35 Heroes to play and fight against, it's also very tedious for new players to learn the moveset of every Hero. And while the tutorials aren't too bad, they explain way too little which can also be frustrating before jumping in dominion.
In short, the game's learning curve is very steep both to learn how to properly defend/fight, and due to how oppressive the community can be. But in general For Honor is like a diamond in the rough, especially compared to other recent Ubisoft titles.
Ahhh those are interesting points. I’m planning on treating it like Monster Hunter, where I find a hero I like and then watching videos to really get them down.
What do you mean though? Ubisoft finally made two AAAA games! Star Wars: Outlaws, and Skull and Bones! Those games are universally loved with NO controversies!
