@chillyogis2 plz check this video Leh Ladakh trip in 4-5 Days | Ladakh Trip 5 Day Itinerary | Ladakh Trip in 4 Days | Dheeraj Sharma ua-cam.com/video/tvdw7mRZrrc/v-deo.html
Hi Dheeraj, I usually prefer DIY mode of travel. However, Below are few queries we had - 1. is it safe to self drive with family given the security aspect in kashmir and also because many places in Ladakh are remote and hardly crowded? 2. What option do we have if for some reason ur car breaks down or u get stranded due to some climatic condition 3. How good is phone connectivity? 4. Is going there in mid of April a good idea? In one of ur videos u had suggested these timeslots, though they are not peak season but since u get good deals on stays and is less crowded.
Thank you Dheeraj ji!! Your inputs and infos helped lot in my Ladakh plan done in August. Will be happy to help the community if any latest details needed. Did on bike as couple. Julley!!
So happy to know... I also just came back yesterday from a fun filled trip from up there in Ladakh... I am really happy my content proved useful to you trip.
Dheeraj bhai! Missed to meet you in Leh this time. Some other time perhaps! One point I would like to share based on my personal experience... Leh Ladakh offers things from 2 aspects: Scenic natural beauty and rugged, harsh off road adventures. As a traveller, each person needs to decide for themselves what exactly is it that they are looking for when they plan a Ladakh trip. I experienced a lot of both. For example the ride from Srinagar side till Leh was awesome because the roads are so smooth and let you enjoy the scenic beauty all around. More or less the same when I travelled from Khardung La till Hunder and then onward to Thang. However Khardung La was pretty challenging and may not be to everyone's liking. I was riding a bike so navigating the narrow mountain roads was easier than in a car as I didn't get stuck anywhere. Had I been driving my car however, it would have been a very different experience! Though I did have a couple of scary moments even on bike. The ride to Pangong Tso from Nubra valley via the Shyok route was 90% off roads. It was fun doing it the first time but after experiencing it the second day returning from there to Leh and then the difficult roads from Leh to Jispa over the high passes along with the sudden drop in temperatures over the last day and then the 3rd day riding from Manali to Mandi... Truly a harrowing experience. When you are riding off roads, you need to focus on the road and can't really enjoy the scenic beauty around! I do plan to make a video on this subject but I feel you would be able to make an even better and more effective video! 😊
Thank you so much bhai for sharing your experience with everyone.. It does take a lot of toll on your body and there is a bittersweet experience of any Ladakh trip. You summed up in your comment very well that there will be days when you may enjoy the journey and then there will be days when you will curse why you came on this trip :) ... The balancing scale makes this Ladakh adventure, a unique experience. And brother, it happens to most of us including me as I was cursing the whole one day why did we decided to take the route we chose to take just recently too... And well, we may meet next trip then :D
Dear Dheeraj Bhai, I've completed my 12 days solo to leh two days back..I would like to share my experience to you because I got most of the routes, petrol pumps and places etc. From your videos only.. I reached leh on September 3rd and returned home two days back... I've visited all places(as in my itinerary) and all the details you have provided were really helpful especially the petrol pump...on the first day I stayed at leh for Acclimatization and on the following day I started my trip with the scram himalayan (rented from leh).. on the first day I went to LAMAYURU and returned to leh where I got to know about the bike mileage and I got comfortable with riding the bike(I never drove himlayan before) next day I started from leh-kardung la-turtuk-hunder- diskit-pangong-kaksangla-hanle- umling la- demchok-hanle- tso moriri- puga valley- TAGLANG LA - Karu- chang la-leh ... This was my itinerary and I was able to complete the way i wanted😊 So for me solo to ladakh is no more a Bucket list.. i would like to say thank you so much for details you have given as all of them were accurate and reliable ❤
Thank you so much and well that is some adventure you had up there... I am very happy that my content proved helpful and helped you plan the trip successfuly.. Kudos to your ride bro!

Hello again Dheeraj, we're planning for our Ladakh trip on Dec 1-6. Are roads heading to tourist spots passable by that time?! is it usually already snowy on early December? thank you!!
Hi I am planning Delhi to Ladakh (by road on my own car) on Sept 23. Will be going through Manali and returning via Srinagar. Can you please update present road conditions, whether it is safe as of now, using the Chandigarh-Manali highway as well as Manali-Leh highway?

It is possible, just make sure that you watch out weather report before traveling on Manali Leh Highway as it will be very risky in case of snowfall... Stay options wil be limited in middle of October and Manali Leh Highway will be sub-zero temperatures.

Been following your video since the very first day when I thought of doing Ladakh it’s informative but don’t do promotions of any others cause the contact you gave in this video is not responding! Your contact are good don’t ruin your career by giving irrelevant contacts !
Well, I think I gave contact of Ken bhai who runs tour services up there in Ladakh. Right? If you are unable to connect better leave a message on WhatsApp and believe me there is no promotion here.. it is a genuine effort to connect tourists with someone whom I trust will do best in offering services.. His company is listed #1 on TripAdvisor as well! He is not a irrelevant contact rather a very very trusted one.. all contacts I share are genuine ones and none of them are irrelevant and none of them pay me for any kind of promotion here on this platform… Replying back or not to someone stems from many factors and biggest being Ladakh is a low connectivity zone. So leave a message and in case Ken is able to fulfil your request he will respond when he gets the message..
Sir I have been following your videos closely. I do enjoy and find very helpful. I am planning to travel to leh between 15th oct to 22nd oct 23 with my spouse and 14yrs old son. I havn't booked any accommodation and car yet. Hope should be available during that time and no need to prebook online. If you can guide us on the above and also a tour itenary. Thanking for your help

Sir I have been following your videos closely. I do enjoy and find very helpful. I am planning to travel to leh between 15th oct to 22nd oct 23 with my spouse and 14yrs old son. Though I keep travelling across the year across India and that too by self drives, in leh i am travelling for the first time, I will reach leh on 15th by air and my return ticket from leh is booked on 22nd morning. I havn't booked any accommodation and car yet. Hope should be available during that time and no need to prebook online. If you can guide us on the above and also a tour itenary. Thanking for your help
Thanks bhai, my pleasure. There is no need to prebook online now. it is after season time and you do not need to prebook anything. For itinerary of Ladakh by air, please check: ua-cam.com/video/3GVBLP9NYxw/v-deo.html
It is going to be pretty cold up there so make sure you go well prepared up there with winter clothing.
