- Welcome to Sonne Farms! On this channel we showcase numerous jobs a Corn/Soybean/Beef producing operation takes on each day. Hop in the cab or sorting alley with Cole, Brian, and Jeff, to see how life really is for the people that help feed the US and the rest of the world. In addition to Corn, Soy, and Cattle, Sonne Farms puts up grass and alfalfa and sells pure bred Black Angus Bulls in South Dakota.

Do you think Brian says “Oh yeah, I can tell Cole checked the oil yesterday. It’s on there kinda loose.”? 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣
Your brain is loose
Happy days, your rain is coming! We got over 2+ inches in my location yesterday. I put out every spare bucket, bowl, & tub I had, gathered some lovely free water!---No, I never get tired of watching the harvest. As a kid, my Sister & I (5 & 6, or 6 & 7) were on the farm during wheat harvest, & our teenage Aunt was driving the truck. She'd park it at the end of the row, waiting for the combine to dump it's load. After it was safe, we'd climb, barefoot, into the back & stomp around in the grain (getting oohey because of the dead grasshoppers & crickets!)---Memories Fellas.
Happy Birthday Scooby Do! 🎉🎂🎁 Hey Brian!
In a world gone mad…the best I ever had…you’re so bad.
Combinin’ the kern, oh yeah! Nice drone vid Cole. I like that. Beautiful field, the way it should be shown. Never get sick of this. Beautiful pit!
Maybe Cole, the problem with your back is lifting, pulling, pushing stuff that’s heavy. Or maybe it’s from climbing in n out of trucks, tractors and combines. Or maybe it’s cause you compensate for your knee when it’s acting up. Or maybe it’s caused by all of these. Or maybe you slept wrong.
Hey Jeff!
Storla Station
That really tricked my brain for a second. You were backing the corn cracker up with the skid steer and I thought you were driving forward in the tractor. Awesome video though!
Older lady from Buffalo NY but I so enjoyed your videos! You and Brian are what I envision a farm family should be and you can see the love between father and son! Great video!!😍😘🤗
Thanks for watching, Candy!
Direct opposite of what Duffy Ag is going through.
Cole and Brian, I always ♥ enjoy watching somebody else working!!
You guys have been busting your butts.
Every body's backs is sore by now.
Job well done, you made it look easy.
Looking forward to watching a great harvest. Hope it brings you plenty of corn 🌽 and satisfaction.
God Bless the Sonne Family & Farms.
"Salonpas" patches & one Advil will take away you back pain quickly...
You will need a good back with your upcoming Wedding Cole 😉👍
I LOVE watching your Harvest...
Well Orchestrated 👍
GBY ALL 🙏❤️💙💙🐕🤗✝️
Getting pretty cinematographically artful, with that scene change from water filling a bucket to corn draining out of a semi-truck- congrats!
I liked your drone footage of the harvesting of the corn. Made me feel nostalgic for this time of year. I hope that there is family farms like yours around forever!.
I love the music they play while they’re harvesting🤓
LOL!! Scooby Doo and Tom Petty all in one video! "Brain" is on a roll today! Happy to see harvest is panning out well even though you had to fight drought. We're still gathering hay up here and ended up with a "WHAT THE HECK!?" moment when a black angus cow thats new to us dropped her calf just yesterday!! Geez, now we know why the owners didnt want to deal with the schedule hassles with this girl. But oh well, we have a healthy new calf and a bit of juggling to do but its all good. You guys enjoy having those pits full and ready for winter
boughten bred cattle can be interesting!
@@briansonne814 LOL! yup, for sure! Quite the double take when this wobbly little calf came out of the forest. HaHa! But cow is a great mom and not a nightmare to deal with and calf is healthy so hey, it just means some juggling. and as you well know, "Juggling" is much the same as 'wrangling up the cattles' .... you just dont dare drop one on yourself. 🤣😂
Thumbs up to the person who does the filming with the drone in this video.
Another awesome video with not too much war wounds Cole . By the time I watched the video had forgot what Brian’s song of the day was 😂 so had to rewatch the start again. Good to see Jeff again in the videos. Have a great weekend. With best wishes from Scotland 🏴
Cole, ever notice how a dog stretches every time they get up? Cats do it too. They’re smarter than we are, we have to think about it and force ourselves to stretch. I learned that from a Chiropractor years ago. Here’s something else I learned from him because I had a pinched nerve otherwise known as Sciatica. Get a small freezer pouch or small bag of frozen peas and a towel. Roll the towel up and lay on the floor putting the towel under your neck, stretching your chin like you’re looking at the ceiling. Put the frozen pouch under the small of your back and bring your knees up as far as you can keeping your feet flat on the floor. Hold this spine stretching position for 15 minutes. You can do it as much as you like as long as there is a 30 minute rest period between them. It feels great. I have not been to a Chiropractor in 15 years after I learned how to stretch. I imagine tumbling around in tractors even with suspension seats is hard on your back. If you know anyone that gets insulin through the mail, they will have those freezer packs.
Another good stretch is whenever I feel tight I put one foot up on a chair or dresser do not bend knee an slid both hands one on each side an go as far as u can an hold for 15 seconds!! Do each leg that way hurts like...... But sure feels good afterward!!!
I always look forward to Monday,Wednesday and Saturday 🙌🏼🍻
Cole y'all have a good time doing all the packing alot of work bother
As I watched you cracking corn and shooting it into the pit, the song with Jim came to mind. I checked out the meaning and I decided not to quote any of it. I did not realize the meaning of it even though I recall it being almost a song sung like a children's song. . . . and I am in Canada. I am still impressed with the "science" of adding bacterial culture to the corn in the pit. Thank you for making an informative and interesting video. Brian and Cole work well together. Enjoy these times. Recall the song, "This world is not my own, I'm just a passing through." Cherish the memories. 😃
Thanks cole and Brian for sharing. Never a dull moment. God bless.
Another excellent Sonne farms video starring Brian,Jeff and Cole. Love harvesting videos.
And ellie
Cole great drone video!!!!!! Looked awesome, love those shots. Nice to have those filled 👍🇺🇸
Cole as always your videos are superb.
Cole for your back…..rotate heat and ice when you can for about an hour or two, ice first, then heat!! You work hard every day!! I so enjoy your videos! 🌽🐄🫘😃
Thanks!
Always a good video Cole, Brian, Jeff, and Ellie.
Good video Cole and Brian and Jeff yal stay safe !!
Good to see you got the corn silo filled, lots of work, I know, but you'll be real happy during the winter feedings. I did enjoy the video, I always do, thanks Cole. Have a great weekend, what's left of it.
Loved the video Cole, the music with the drone footage fit right in with the video and in fact it made me tear up as I lost my uncle Thursday morning at the age of 93 but it was he that made me want to farm as he would take me with him when it was time to milk and I got to ride in the combine JD 4400 when I was around 10 but the video and music gave me lots of love and memories of him
Thank you !
So sorry for your loss.
The drone footage with music background was very smooth...smooth as listening to berry white...just saynnn...job well done...thank you..🚜👨🌾🚜😍🙏
Wow the drone shot while harvesting was a great shot Cole
Cole you and Brian and Jeff work so hard. Thank you for Farming. Cole you need shoes!
Always enjoy your videos, especially those with drone views, you and Dad “have a good one”.🤪🤪🤪.
I've never seen you guys put out a bad video, is it just my love for what you're doing and showing the way to do it? I can relate to everything, I think it's the hard work keep at it mentality. Brian's Scoobie Doo comment even reminded me of something I used to that made my two oldest girls ask why I added Scoobie Doo into different things I would jokingly say to them back during the 90's when they were younger. I guess it's from Brian and mine era of time, I could go on believe me.
Always a good feeling when that job is checked off.
Love the drone shots😊👍💯
Happy harvest Sonne family.😎😎👌
Nice, really NICE!! The drone pass over the combine, where the drone shadow went right over the bin on the combine was super neat!! And the shot of the combine and grain cart pacing down the field was superb!! Nice work! Interesting how that nice, soft, fluffy, dry corn, can stop that big ole tractor right in it's tracks!! You guys seem to have this whole thing down to a really coordinated science. A really orchestrated dance. You look like you know what you are doing. LOL Makes it fun to "hide and watch"!! Thank you for letting us all do just that! I certainly enjoy it. And I have some idea of what it takes to get THIS product (the video) out of the camera and ON the line. Thanks again..
Those camera angles are quite an experience. Backing that packing tractor to the back edge of the pit!!!! Yikes. Fun vlog. Tons of work.
Cole-Love the quality drone shots as always! Combines in a field is one of the most beautiful scenes ever. I’m amazed no “belly button sweat”!
Always enjoy Sonne Farms videos! Also looking forward to shipping my new Toro riding mower here to Houston! 😆
REALLY REALLY NICE VIDEO FELLOW! HAVE A GOOD ONE. 👍👍👍👍
Another great video Cole!
Love this bringing in the corn . THE MACHINES MAKE SHORT WORK OF IT. COLE GET YOUR BACK CHECKED BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS. Thanks for showing us and the SONG OF THE DAY LOVE IT. Bye
Never get tired of seeing harvest. Keep 'em coming. 🚜🌽
Great song of the day Brian👍👍
Another great video Cole thanks!
As always Cole and Brian and Jeff awesome video you have such a adorable ❤ dog she reminds of my tedybear she die from old age
Thank you Sonne farms!!!
If you want to see what farmers really look like, go look at the Our Wyoming Life vid where they visit Sonne Farms.
[sorry I don't know the chaps name] but, unlike Cole, he doesn't film in Cinemascope [Cole, you'll have to ask Brian what that means] and you get to see people as they really are.
Believe me, Brian is an absolute unit! The size of his arms! and that;s before I take into account his unbelievably immense knowledge of vintage farming equipment.
Legend.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌞 Farms!!!!!
I love the channel. The drone videos are great.
Harvest looks so satisfying especially with a pup helping pack it down. 😄
Thank you for the great videos👏👏
Always interesting and entertaining videos! 😃
Glad you like them!
6:04 Heaven's to Betsy, Cole. Handle your hose, son!!!
Haven’t done a comment for a while but seeing as you asked even though I’m on holiday in France we still need a Sonne fix 😂
Another super-duper video especially the drone footage and Brian doing Scooby-Doo at the beginning made me laugh 😂😂
Utilizing the stalks as feed is just awesome. Anything to keep the winter feed intact. I never considered it but that is why I am not a farmer. Not smart enough. And I have NEVER seen a subpar video from you. Some are more interesting than others, but for a city boi, I am fascinated by all of it.
They even bale some of it to feed during the winter months
@@johnwudarcki9315 I have seen some rangers bailing stalks, but I thought it was just for bedding. I never knew they were a food source.
They will eat some of it and what they don't they will lay on
Love the drone view of acres and acres of crops ready for harvest. Beautiful site. Makes me wish i was not 80 and could travel to farms and operate those large tractors.
Thank you young man greatly appreciate it. God bless
Came over from Our Wyoming Life when you did the collaboration on the Arts Way ginder. I like it here. Always glad to find another great farming channel. Now to catch up then watch the old stuff.
Love the videos Cole!
harvest time with you and your dad is so cool, we would like more of it if you can it's great, that is all your videos are great
Of course we enjoyed the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The drone footage out in the cornfield was so beautiful.
You guys are my freakin HEROS!!!!!!!
yeahhh!
it was sweet watching all your mightily hard work packing the corn. it did turn out superb! Good work on finding good bedroom furniture too
Good work guys.
Enjoy the fall harvest season. Harvesting what has grown over the summer is rewarding. Sometimes hard to believe what starts out as a little seed can grow into acorn plant or abean plant. Stay safe during the harvest season.
Cracked and packed. Job well done gentlemen! Loved the drone footage and music. God Bless You and Yours!
I left a COMMENT! HAHA. Great video like usual. Your Uncle's corn pit was a work of art Cole. Nicest corn pit I've ever seen. 💘 🚜 🌽 🐄 🐂 🐕 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Great temps...great work...great to be alive!!!!
After that drought you guys have been through, it sure is nice to see those pits full.
You should try Thermacare wraps! Your back will thank you!!!
I admire you guys! Only three and making it happen! I’m from the island of Puerto Rico and some of that corn is produce here by Pioneer
I enjoy and look forward to your videos, thank you
I really do enjoy watching your videos especially this time of the year when you start to cut down the corner and stuff I love the fall but it's not that I do love all of your videos that you make please keep the good videos coming and we will always continue to keep watching your videos thank you so much man
Great vids of the farm, beautiful shades of green.
I ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR VIDEO'S. KEPP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Thanks for sharing your vids with us!
Thank you guys for all your hard work as farmers for this great country of ours. You guys are greatly appreciated.
Your back ache is common to people with strong work ethics and who work hard every day without complaint and who love what they do. I consider it a badge of honor.
I have a foam roller that I start at my lower back and work my way up. Not perfect but helps
I also think Tamy plays a huge part in what you both do, so fair play to you Tamy.
I love every minute of your videos.
awesome video guys. Thank you so much
You’re so good at farming & videos Cole.
Thank you!
Nice video guys! 👊🏻👌🏻
Enjoyed the video. Very nice drone video. Thanks. That wet corn is going to make some mighty fine burgers, steaks and roasts.
Good job gentlemen enjoy watching the video may the Lord Bless you a plentiful harvest 🙏🏽👍🏽🙂
Always enjoy your videos. Looking forward to preg checks. Who ever buys your Herefords, would be nice to see the calves
Congrats on getting the pits full I'm sure it's a good feeling
You should try wearing a weight lifting belt when you are bouncing around in your tractor. It could help with your back and also since you are doing some heavy lifting with your work. BTW, that honk at the end was like an oil tanker with a clown nose horn. lol
yes not a proud horn moment
A classic video in the can, job well done. drone was pleasant viewing. always enjoy your videos.
Awesomeness 👌 love the videos
Always enjoy your videos!!
Great as always
Looking forward to seeing this year's corn harvest. An today's mower giveaway.
Thanks for the video guys!!!
The chip board in the arm of the seat was bad when I had that problem with unload auger not retracting.
Great video as always Thanks to all involved , all so gives you a peace of mine that you have feed for your cattle over winter.
Cole. You need to call the boot supplier. Show them those boots and ask if they want their product displayed like that. Then have them send you some new boots.
For your back pain, I'd use The Bed Buddy. It's a heat/cool wrap. It WORKS! I have 2 and I'm consistently lending one out. If you decide to try it, don't get a different brand. I think they use a different ingredient or something because they don't work as well. It was the only thing that helped with a shoulder injury and other problems I had. Good luck, hope you get relief soon
Another awesome video. Tom Petty Long After Dark Album is one of my favorites. God Bless.
