1974 India had leverage for fishing rights; 1976 was a soldout of Tamil fishermen to Sri Lanka by New Delhi centric power.
In actual reality predominantly Hindi & Sinhala Navies deciding the fate of thousands of years of traditional Tamil sea territory is a shame.
Smartly not focusing the way forward as the past New Delhi power centric elements.
However, BJP need to do to counter the geopolitics in the Indian Ocean or wait for SL to allow another Chinese base in katchathivu. Likely in course of time SL may play the China card again. May We can talk but no action.
