I haven’t tried to compare them. But I reckon it depends on what will you do next with the snapper. if you want to have sashimi, then yes it will affect the taste. If you will cook it then it doesn’t affect much of the taste of the flesh..

@@zacchaeussim6941 nowadays, I prefer to to prepare the day before: so it means I already fillet (sometimes the fish market does this for me when I bought a fresh Kahawai) the fish and cut them in the way that it will be ready to be put in the hook. That’s gonna save you the hassle more chance to get fish 😆
