Brilliant! Crap, I have so much to learn!
I don't think I've heard the contrast/saturation slider tip before, very useful. Cheers!
Another great, well produced video. I like the suggestion of shooting in black and white to better understand contrast in the scene.
I like this series.... Learning already known in new perspective.❤❤❤
Very informative series you have created! Look forward to the next episode.
Thanks so much Anders! I've had a lot of fun making this one ... and relearned a lot of little things about my photography.
I hope you are well. 😁👍
Another good tutorial Mike.
You are an amazing photographer and an awesome teacher!
Dang, that was a very interesting and informative video. Thanks Mike.
Your videos are both enjoyable and useful.
You've helped me a lot. Thank you!
Very interesting video, something else I've just learnt, so much to take in
I shoot b&w,, but nice tips on editing Mike much appreciated.
Another great one Mike 🙏
Hi Mike: Another wonderful video full of great tips, suggestions and viewpoints. Well done! Cheers, Keith
Good tips thanks Mike
Great video, Mike! Changing into black and white is great advise. I have heard you squint your eyes to where you just barely see anything. This shows you contrast but also basic colors going into color theory. Stay safe out there.
Thank you so much for always sharing the best content Mike, I enjoy every video and learn a lot from you, I really enjoy the color wheel video and after watching your video I found out that I really enjoy my moody style of photography 👍🤗
I can't wait for the Exposure episode.
I'm having one of those Brain F@rt moments trying to judge exposure for my video projects. I know this is a photography course, but I do find little snippets to cross over to video.
Very good video ,very good tips ,thank you!
Loads of info, thank you
Hi Mike, I love your videos…I’ve noticed you often use an aerial shot during them. Have you considered making a video or two on drone photography?
Thank you very much
Fantastic video as always Mike! The amount of different backgrounds and places you go to, while keeping the subject flowing so seamlessly is epic! Also, whatever lens you are using, it makes the background so separate and colorful, makes the scene quite surreal.
Love the suggestions, as Contrast is always one of my personal favorite things to consider when photographing. The greatest influence I took to my personal style is from Caravaggio with his strong contrast scenes.
I remember in one video you talked about using only whites and blacks sliders as the others affect the quality
Shirt, but very effective video. Thanks.
... it's a good tip: when u increase contrast, decrease saturation... thank you
I often enjoy taking quite high contrast pictures. But I tend to find my camera complaining that I'm underexposing my pictures and were I to let it it'd raise iso a good few steps to compensate, but I don't like the pictures I get when I allow the camera to decide. I try to let the histogram guide me more than I do the light meter at the end of the day and I'm not sure what it is the camera is trying to tell me when the histogram looks good but the light meter says -2.
👍
I turned my notifications for your video to "All" and I received a notification for this one mate. Hopefully more people do the same in order to make sure they get the notifications :) great video
