- In November 2018, Jon Bellion released his second studio album, ‘Glory Sound Prep,’ which debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. On the 10-track project, the Long Island, NY native collaborates with RZA, Roc Marciano, and Quincy Jones. On the latest episode of ‘For The Record,’ Bellion sat down with Genius’ Head of Artist Relations Rob Markman to discuss ‘Glory Sound Prep,’ turning down Beyoncé’s request for a song he co-wrote and co-produced, and landing ‘Dragon Ball Z’ voice actor Chris Sabat on “Adult Swim.”

I remember listening to the album when it first came out, it was not anything that I had expected and I was kind of disappointed. After a couple months I now find myself listening to most of the songs from the album daily. You really can't judge music after hearing it for the first time, sometimes it grows on you.
To say Jon Bellion is Pop music is to say Cudi is Rap. Way too diverse and too good to put in one category.
