Last time I rode on a tram in Adelaide was the old brown ones,I even remember the conductor clipping our tickets,I lived at Glenelg it was the easiest way of getting into the city.flash looking trams now,SA has stepped it up.i saw roads in the suburbs need attention..maybe when the subs are built that'll being in the $,need to find a massive gold deposit.

Why only one paltry line? Does Adelaide plan on expanding tram or rail beyond its present development? Public transit must be fully utilized as a key component in climate change strategy. The primacy of privately owned and operated fossil fuel burning vehicles has to be abandoned for multiple reasons beyond climate change.
Doubt I would recognise Adelaide today.

Trams and buses are free in the city only. Good transport system especially for students.

David Lang There are plans in the pipeline to eventually extend the tram routes to outer suburbs, all subject to finance and government approval.
