- Hi Everyone, I hope you are all doing good!
I'm really excited to share this video with you, it ws a wild experience for me and I still can't believe how much fun these Lada's on ice are. Huge thanks to Dmitry and Aimol Russia for the unbelievable hospitality we received in Russia. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget.

Невероятно, этот человек чемпион всего и вся, но забыв свои перчатки, уверен, даже не сказал никому, а просто ехал. Хотя в 10 метрах, самый большой магаз в России, и уж перчатки-то точно нашлись бы для него. Настоящий чемпион, без закидонов!
Мне кажется его задело, Сколько раз сказал, что не воспринимает серьезно,просто наслаждается. Ну да... Я думаю, когда ты чемпион всего и вся, проигрывать сложнее. Надеюсь это даст толчек к новым движениям. не представляю что это будет за зверь, если он научится поеждат в ВДБ
А Гоча, например, с закидонами что ли?
Тоже не понял прикола с перчатками, когда в 50 метрах их там столько, что устанешь выбирать.
@@tackesi Любой Чемпион всегда едет на победу, где бы он ни учавствовать, разница лишь в том, что чемпионы могут от этого реально получать кайф

Вот это я понимаю профессиональный гонщик. Сел в незнакомую тачку,минимально прикатался и показал крутые проезды.
это да, он даже когда показывал на камеру 4:48 как ехал в заезде и что делал, то изображал ручник левой рукой... хотя ехал в леворукой тачке и дергал ручник правой.... едет круто на левом руле, но при этом думает и показывает правый.... реально машина, что не дай, на всем поедет...))))
Your slip/grip capabilities always astounded me lad, I remember watching you in the fd3 at the nurburgring drift cup in the pissings of rain some years back and you were on a different planet to anyone else, first time competing at this gig here too and took to it like a duck to water, absolutely phenomenal! 🇮🇪🇮🇪

A lot of cars in this competition indeed run on carburetors, but James' car was swapped with a 16 valve injection engine, that came out of a newer FWD lada.
Well this is now kinda pro level cars and drivers, so most of these cars using fuel injection and got 130~180 hp instead of stock ~75 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ice-drifting is something else, I wish we had a similar competition here in Norway.
Oh man, oh man. I've just watched this and the previous videos back to back and there you can clearly see how far out of his comfort zone the ice took him. What I immediately noticed in the first video was the huge amount of progress between only the first and second lap which just goes to prove how much experience he has. But going and competing for the first time against russians who are used to drifiting in this conditions and securing third place is just mental. You never fail to deliver man, you're clearly the best in the game and I really enjoy watching your videos!
Personally I love Ladas and drifting so when someone combines the two there's just a huge smile on my face.
this event seems like such a great fun time good vibes, I loved the all the fire and sparklers going off while drifting past hahah

Frequently spanking the clutch is kinda normal in Russian winter drifting. Drivers like E. Losev are pretty much tapdancing on the pedals.
Hey James, been following your career for years now. So great to see you taking on new, different, and unique motorsports. I would have to imagine that after winning so many drift events and nearly perfecting your skills, that an event like this really re-ignites your passion for grass roots motorsports. Great post James!
