Today I explore the goldrush town of Jackson, California on Highway 49 in Amador County. Jackson produced more than half the gold mined in the entire Mother Lode! Join me on another trip into California's Gold Hills!

A wonderful video. I loved the clips of the beautiful golden rolling hills when you were driving over the New Melones bridge. Thank you for showcasing the mining history and mining parks of Jackson as well for us history lovers. I’ve always loved the quaint downtown restaurants and antique shops of Jackson, but as another viewer commented, there is so much more to see there and you really did a great job showing that. I am so homesick for the Gold Country, your videos always bring back good memories.

This was so good to see. I really enjoyed your tour of Jackson, this beautiful gold rush town and hear you narrate the very interesting history.
