- Today, Ron makes a final trip back to Montana to visit with Tony with Fast Ag again while they are cutting Canola. I have never seen canola harvest before and I am telling you, they look like small trees!

Hartung Family Farms is a farming operation out of Jackson and Clinton County Iowa, with our main farm located in Preston Iowa. We have around 2400 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, rye, and oats as well as around 750 head of cattle. Hi Ron! Bye Tony!
Nice Tony is wearing a Nebraska shirt the beautiful state that I live in
Hahaha he loves his huskers!
Great Video Ron! Your Segway in at 4:54 was Awesome! For a second I thought an advertisement for Case had popped up. It was that good! Keep up the Great Videos! Never Boring!
Hahaha well thanks! I’m proud of that drone sequence
Great job with the drone footage. Old house and windmill. With combines it was awesome.
Thanks, I’m happy with how that turned out!
Great shots scenes of old buildings and windmill.
Congratulation Ron, learned something new regarding canola.
FYI subscribers, Canola produce beautiful yellow flower, full field in spring.
I really want to see a bloomed canola field!
Sorry Ron! Not sorry Tony!
Thanks for the video I enjoyed that❤️🇺🇸👍🏻 take care my friend 💫🇺🇸💫
I’m glad you enjoyed that!
What a blast
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I have to second the fact the canola farmer's up in Canada are extremely knowledgeable about canola, as well as other crops they grow up there. Especially in the Saskatchewan area.
That’s what I’ve heard! I’m going up to Canada in a few weeks so I’m hoping to learn!
Great video and drone footage. Interesting hearing about Canola. Noticed what looked like and old house in the middle of the field? Thanks again for introducing us to Tony with Fast Ag.
Not a problem! And yes, that was an old homestead house there
good afternoon from the netherlands
Awesome thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
@@HartungFamilyFarms watched your hunting videos from last year awesome our bow season starts Oct 1 can't wait i live in western NY
Hello from IL
Why hello from Iowa!
Wow crop circles
I know! Freaky
in one the videos you put out with or at fast ag did i see a 4 wd track tractor on a grain cart
I do not believe I saw one but I could be wrong
Canola meal is also fed to cattle, at least we do here in Northern Europe
Didn’t know that
Go Blue!
We tried running drapers without those top augers and it plugs really bad. Those augers make a huge difference in Canola.
I can believe it, the canola would just still without them I bet
I wonder what the combine settings are compared to wheat
Slower rotor and fan, sieves are about the same, maybe a little more closed, and clearance is a little bit more opened
You don’t want to fall while running in a field of Canola stubble because it hurts more than cereal crops
That’s what I’ve heard
What is the Nebraska connection with eastern Montana?
I believe that Tony’s wife is from there along with a few of their interns!
Are you getting a decent yield this year?
Tony wasn’t at that fueld
🇺🇸
