You tell the people exactly what i felt during that day specially as they didn't took the agreement seriously 😢 the plan was to keep much much more and I was really angry when I saw the first piles of pulp wood after just a few hours.
It is hard to find a balance between protecting house and the people around and getting enough out that you don't need to pay them for the work. But I'm still searching for ways how to handle the remaining forest (which is about 75% left over and 50% of that is ready to be gone through) in a sustainable way. I don't want to have these huge machines here anymore and I still have some ideas.
And believe me, when I saw the machine working for the first hour here, I was about to stop them and send them away when I saw the way they are working here. Now we need to rescue whatever we can rescue and also these preparations are ongoing with some more ideas for the next few years to give every single tree a sense why it was taken down. And the good part of it is, most of the wood is going to the sawmill to become houses, windows, beds and much more. The rest will be used locally and there are many logs we can mill our own with the sawmill here. So for next year we will make our own boards and planks to use as much wood as possible directly where it was cutted.

Thank you so much for your long explanation and your comment dear Tobi! ❤️ I've seen the sadness in your eyes when the machines were here. I know it wasn't easy. It was a hard time for everyone and I'm glad you handled my sadness the way you did. We will help you as good as we can with cleaning and planting and taking care of nature ❤️🌲 it will be okay ❤️

I’m so very sorry that you had to go through that very painful experience.
You made a lot of valid points because wood is still very much needed.
Also the safety of people who are living there has to have a priority.
Still is devastating to watch it.
I’m all for harvesting in a way that the forest as a being is not destroyed but I’m also aware that’s not always possible.
I’m glad your favorite tree is still there. A little light that helps to deal with the sadness.
    Mother Nature will heal!
… if you are lucky you can see a lot of berry bushes growing in the coming years, they love little meadows in the forest.
It will attract other animals than forest animals and the diversity can be joyful!
I have a different opinion. You didn’t manifest anything.
I’m very careful with telling people about manifestations because that can lead to feeling guilty and reduce the ability to deal with fearful thoughts and insecurities.
I believe it was meant to be that you experienced your biggest fear coming to Sweden.
To go through it and learn a valuable lesson.
We can’t control everything but we can survive pain and sadness, we can’t avoid loss but we can heal and create positive new situations and things through pain and sadness.
We are guided and we are here to learn, grow, get stronger and better.
I believe in self-fulfilling prophecy’s but I don’t think it was the case here.
You experienced it because it was necessary to help you to conquer your fears!
    Everything will be okay!

Dearest Vanessa, I feel your pain. We have been through wildfires in Portugal in 2022 and the devastation was unbelievable. The worst thing was it was man made and it was not stopped for 2 weeks. The attitude here is that these events are normal and it happens all the time. Trust me, this is far from being normal. The devastation every year is enormous. There is almost no wildlife left and the so called 'hunters' are happily shooting small birds and everything that moves. And they then present proudly what they shot. As you say, Mother nature will heal herself, she will repair and live. It is the humans that I'm concerned about. Some of us are waking up slowly to what's going on. And all we can do is to pass the knowledge on, send love and compassion, shed a tear or two but breathe in love and exhale more love.
As far as I know, in Sweden, when they fell trees they have to replant new ones. At least something. Here in Portugal, they build solar parks and mine for lithium.
I love your videos as you know. And your soul is rare. Much love to you and everything around you. xx

Thank you so, so much!!! Yes I know about the fires in Portugal... also on the island Madeira. It's crazy! And I know that some of these fires belong to nature but I also believe you that this is man made madness... I'm so sorry you had to go through this. I know from a friend in Alaska, they also have a lot of wildfires and it's simply scary and devastating for nature lovers to see how extremely nature is destroyed.
What you shared about the hunters is just disgusting. But Karma will take care of that, I'm sure. ❤️
We focus on love. And you said it so beautifully: let's breathe in love and exhale even more love ❤️🌲❤️
Thank you so much fir being here ❤️ and thank you for you wonderful kind words and your ongoing support ❤️

Dear Vanessa, how much I feel your sadness. Similar thing happened where I live (Jämtland too) just few weeks ago. It was not the forest just next to our house as we have the house on a pasture and the closest forest is owned by us (thankfully). It however happened to the forest I liked the most here, outside our small village. Old pine trees, mossy ground and small stream running through, just like a fairytale. But since we moved here I knew it will happen. Though the point about manifestation from Egleya is powerful and very valid it is also thing that just happens here. If you do not own the land, it is not a nature reserve or the circumstances aren't like they were in your case (dangerously close trees), you just can be sure it will happen. Swedish economy is based on forestry, especially here in Jämtland. I knew it will happen sooner or later if the forest wasn't owned by someone who would like to keep the forest and that I think is quite rare. So for me I tried to love the forest but not get too attached to it at the same time. Then I saw the tapes marking the trees some months ago and started preparing myself for it. It was still upsetting to hear the machines and finally walking through that place now when they finished. But it didn't destroyed me like it could have.
It has been a lesson actually, accepting the change that is present around me at all times (I am not a big fan of changes). And also deciding to move to Sweden I knew this is how things are here. As you said, it is no point being angry or sad about it. It still hurts, to see the cutting being done in such harmful way. But accepting the bigger picture helps with not being affected by it so much. And your sharing about the trees sending you the message of acceptance and being bigger than that, that is so comforting to hear, thank you for that!
And your point about feeling like a hypocrite?! My thoughs exactly. I love having all made of wood but my heart cries when seeing trees being cut down.. The problem here I think is that our modern society uses too many resources in a wasteful way (eg. wasting too much paper, changing furniture just because getting bored by the old one and following trends,..).
But, Love. As you said, the answer is always love. So take my long comment as a way of showing support and love, you are not the only one feeling the same about this. And the more there will be people like us the sooner will things change for the better. I am happy that you have loving people around you and that you get to explore Swedish nature. It is much bigger than that one tree or a forest. I still wouldn't change my decision to move here even with all this and I am sure it is the same for you. Our souls just belong here as does those millions of trees. We are one. Much love to you 🧡

@@rada_dobi omg 🥺🌲❤️❤️❤️ what a WONDERFUL comment ❤️ thank you so much for sharing and being so open! It was so, so healing to read and I'm beyond happy that I am not alone with these feelings and thoughts. I'm so sorry you lost your favorite forest too ... what a wonderful world it would be if we had the money to buy as much forest as we could 🌲🌲🌲 but the reality looks different and you are so right. It's important to accept these changes. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sending so much love here and for your kind words. It helped. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

@@LagomHemma You are so welcome! I thank you for sharing all this so openly. It is so important to show not only the good stuff but also the bad stuff, at least for me. When I see that I am not the only one feeling so strongly about these things it helps a lot. I feel validation and support and I love hearing your words of reasurrance. Not many people around me feel simlarly about these things so I appreciate your sharings very much. Thank you.

Hello, I loved your video, as always, and I understand your pain, but it is a cultural thing, in the northern countries, but also in some areas of your country and other nearby ones like Austria, everything has been built of wood, the houses and other buildings, surely in ancient times the Germans would cut down trees when they needed to build a barn or a house, but the bigger the cities and towns become, the greater the massacre of trees. It is a cultural thing, everything revolves around that, the woodwork, the symbols carved into beams, the wooden barns... It makes me reflect on how perhaps with the passing of the centuries, society advances and continues doing the same things, but losing respect for nature, for the gods, ceasing to make offerings by taking something living from nature, like a tree, respect has been lost, and that is why it hurts more.

    • @LagomHemma
      @LagomHemma  Місяць тому

@@DandelionLaBrujaVerde YES. This is exactly what hurts so much! There is no appreciation, no giving back, no feeling of the sadness. They just take this living thing away, the tree and everything that lived with it, and pull it through the machines and transport it to the next factory. There was so much more blood and sweat sacrificed a few hundred years ago and there was so much more appreciation for a tree. There was so much more connection to nature.
I think the exact same way and I think we - as nature lovers - can bring back more of this appreciation and love. And a ritual to say "Thank you" doesn't have to take hours and 100 people. It can also be 5 minutes and just me, or you, or anyone else. Just sending some love, allowing a tear, and showing the earth respect. 🌲❤️✨️
