A good trick for these type of “spot the difference” puzzles: - Align the two pictures side-by-side. - Center the border separating the two pictures over your nose (i.e. between your eyes). - Relax your eyes and let them “drift apart” until you have three images: the left image, the right image, and a “merged” image in the middle. - While holding the central image like this, with “parallel eyes”, slowly focus your eyes to bring the central image into focus. - Any difference between the two images should now be apparent to you. (Note, this “parallel eye” trick is basically the same thing as the technique for looking at stereograms without a viewer.)
