I’m seriously considering getting the zx4r for my first bike but what’s the difference between the 500 and zx4rr? Is this my best option? I’m looking for something that’s not wimpy that has some power but is also beginner friendly
Biggest difference that I think about a lot is the price $5000-6000 compared to $9000+ msrp not counting all the dealer fees if you going to get it from a dealership. While more expensive, the ZX4RR comes with quickshift/autoblip and have a more supersports feel/look to it. Bad thing is that stock zx4 from the US is going to come detuned and it feels like a 400/500 until you spend $200 to tune it to the power meant for the bike. I was happy with my 400 before but just wanted a zx4. But if power is what youre seeking, id recommend start with a 400/500 to learn first then upgrade to maybe a 600 instead of dropping 9k+ on something you think you going to sell for something bigger

I'm more careful because they me to take it easy and to stay under 8k for the first like 800 miles for break in period
