Long Beach Fire Department Hazardous Material Drill

On Thursday, January 11, 2024, the Long Beach Fire Department, LBPD and other external agencies held a hazardous material exercise at CSU Long Beach. The drill was a large-scale disaster drill to respond to a possible worst-case emergency in the city.
St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach MemorialCare, National Guard, American Red Cross, Community Emergency Response, the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services and others also participated in the live-action scenario.
