We have those collars for our dogs and never used the shocking feature. You are right the beeping and the vibration is sufficient. Love the self demonstration.
Very nice, we got a Boxer last summer because the kids really wanted one. He's more of a chewer than a digger, but you have to give them time, attention, and training like you said, or they will tear up everything.
I thought this was a great and informative video. I will be checking into getting this collar for my two new 8-month-old Husky/Lab mixes. I have to say, in your effort to get the remote in your video shot, it was hard for me to see what Thor was actually doing at the fence other than running back and forth.
Thank you first time I did a video like this just thought it would be a nice topic for yards. Thor was chasing a small dog on the neighbors side of the fence up and down the fence. When they “meet” and stop chasing they both begin to dig to try to grab each other. 😬
Oh no. If you don’t mind me asking how old? In that case some tougher love maybe needed in place of vibration. Maybe give the beep, followed by vibration, followed by a low shock with the prongs actually attached. I’m not for it but maybe 1 time will let her know beeps>vibrate warning it can happen again if you don’t listen. Just please don’t go to maximum output.
@@DanTheLawnMan she is going on a year old. She is very hard headed and nothing we do will keep her from doing what she wants haha. Our other 2 dogs just run to the door as soon as she starts doing something they know is troublesome. We are hopeful she will just grow out of it. We love her regardless and she will be with us her whole life.
@@Runnin2Live That is awesome I hope she grows into it also and keeps getting better. I love dogs and have 3 myself also, I really hope she learns with more time.
Quickest long-lasting result.... e-collar and watch them while outside, press button the second they think about it, takes 3 days Edit* the 'touch of god' technique.... they dont know you see them, they just associate it with 'im alone and this is a bad thing' Start with vibrate for the first 2 attempts as a warning, itll startle em, then zzzt on the 3rd and rest, they learn it extremely quickly Edit* you gotta be inside watching so they dont know you know.... Mine doesnt dig, but when she was younger, id put Tabasco on her poo, and she learned not to try and eat it cause it was not pleasant to taste
Great video! With some very useful tips..Thor is a such a gorgeous GSD btw.
Thank you this is my first German Shepherd and I see how awesome they are.

Absolutely PJ I agree with that I don’t condone using that feature. Beep and vibrate functions are sufficient enough.
Great video Dan ! Thor is a beauty
Thank you 🙏🏼 he is a pain in my rear at times but ❤️ him

This video is 🔥. Definitely ordering that collar right now!
I love it! You won’t regret just use the tips in this video you will see a good drastic change within a month or less. Remember consistency is the 🔑

Boxers are full of energy 😱 I know exactly how energetic and chewy they can get! I hope your training with him is going good 👍🏽
Hi…Could you please include the link to that collar? My GSD digs and drags dirt into the house!

Ahh, gotcha. Well, I became a new subscriber, so I look forward to seeing more of your content. Thanks again for such a helpful and informative video!
We have tried the vibration collar with our beagle. She is way to hard headed to care about the vibration or the beeps.

I did the same thing with shoes I put pepper spray on cheap sandals purchased just to train them not to chew on shoes or slippers.
