SUVs are always supposed to be 4x4 or rear wheel drive, in India and APAC region they save cost by creating front wheel SUVs ... plz don't say that rear wheel slips and loose traction ... compared to front wheel, rear wheel give more traction ... Try to do some experiment with fully loaded XUV700, Safari and Innova on steep gravel road .... Innova will be last to loose traction and XUV700 will be first !!!

Everybody knows shitty services of mahindra
Xuv 700 is not a proper offroader. It is just for mild offroading cause it has awd not 4x4 . Thar is a proper SUV but not usable as a family car. But fortuner does all these things. You can use it as a offroader or family car. And when it comes to a reliable ownership experience forget about Mahindra, no one can match toyota. If price is not a problem fortuner definitely is a better buy. Buy it and forget about 10-15 years.
