Even the crab in Singapore lives like ordinary Singaporean.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I salute him for his courage in this trade
Good the more the merrier 😅
Give a man a crab and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to crab and you feed him for a lifetime.
Toyogo is happy 😂
For some reason I read the title as "Man who repairs crabs in Singapore" and I really don't know what I was expecting.
Very innovative and original idea of rearing crabs.
What an interesting hobby! Would love to see more of the creative sides of locals here 😄
Pretty sad to see singaporean delusional idea of luxury where their expensive leasehold flat is a flex to Malaysian. Now the island governor even ban cats. LMAO
idk about everything else, but Cat banning should be something every major city in the world should be doing. Cats should be registered, and owners should have a cat raising license. Too many people don't realize how invasive and destructive cats are. Most cat owners are terrible cat owners. Simpy letting your cat wander, especially not neuter, outdoors is one of the dumbest things you can do as a cat owner. @@Peliwat.Nusantara
@@yummychips_ As a landed house owner, no problem for cats. However in Putrajaya, Malaysia, I've seen many cats linger around in apartment, of 13 storey to 21. No problem whatsoever, they literally going into mosque, into lift, and poo on the sand or land. It's a collective effort to teach the urban cat, now Singaporean selfish owner can enjoy the ban. lol
I’m glad he’s stated it was someone else’s idea 1st
Integrity is admirable
Just to be clear. This is not a hatchery. The crabs don't mate. He buys crabs and fattens them up. This doesn't solve the food security issue nor does it claim to. Crab condos can't be scaled up to meet demand. It's a fun hobby.
I mean, this with a local hatchery sounds like it could help food security issues. Most people with small vegetable gardens don't make their own seeds. They buy them from the store. A lot of cattle people only buy young cows and fatten them up.
I dont think you can hatch this crab
@@deadseriouslymoving Too much copium. Live in the real world.
@@aa-vk6hd I've seen many people catching mud crabs.
i beg to differ> just saw a youtube video where the guy has 1000's and got his TINY baby crabs from a nursery.
Great content! Please show more of such homegrown talents :)
Absolutely creative and super, super innovative and fully thinking outside the "Box"....congratulation and all the very best.
Fine series, Jerry, timely and insightful. Great work.
Seriously brilliant ...well done
The crabs are huge. Growing own crabs is hard work but rewarding.
Not genital crabs though? They are super easy to get and spread😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣@@kimcho773
Human condominium is crab condominium with extra steps.
Wow! This species of Crab is quite Large! Good to know on how to grow our own foods in case there is another Major Movement Control Order! ( MCO ) ... Thank You So Much CNA for these short but educational tutorials ... 😊🙏
Are these freshwater or saltwater crabs?
@@bursegsardaukar, tap water from faucet
@@bursegsardaukarmud crabs live in mangroves swamps, so it’s by the sea at the cross between fresh and sea water
Imagine being raised all alone in a 10x10 cell just so Argarthus from Sentarri can eat you!
Good technology to grow crab good idea also this guy very talented
now I know Toyogo boxes are that multi purposed :)
I applaud CNA for highlighting many Singapore grown foods over the years. (Yeah, I'm paying attention)
Food security is probably Singapore's Number 1 issue.
A country needs Land, Water and Food to survive. Singapore has the first 2 (somewhat). When food crisis happens and other countries scramble to secure their own food supply for their own citizens, then Singaporeans would experience the short end of xenophobia.
Be kind to others (foreigners) when you're strong.
Cause when 💩 hits the fan, you'll be begging them for food......or causing massive jam in Tuas/Causeway.
Lies again? Polite Chef Evil Angel
Aye you seem well spoken. May I ask what have you personally done since you already have a perspective of what may come?
now the island even ban cats, a pity for singaporean kiasu who flex to Malaysian who has real luxury.. LMAO
Just marvelous!
Ah, finally a face behind the voice of the condo crab breeder on TT.
Toyogo: thank you
Exactly they make great plastic drawer chests
Good evening! Are you using Salt water or tap water? What food to feed on those crabs?
How long does it take to grow a crab into food?
Do you start with crab eggs? Where do you get them?
I saw the thumbnail and the overlay text and who knows, maybe because of the way the guy is holding the crab up, I read "rears" as in a horse rearing up, and he was doing this thing called crab rearing *at* the house. Like "oh don't piss that guy off, he'll rear his crab at your house. He's been rearing it at mine every day now!"
Aussie ive also tested a few tanks with yabbies babys in warm tank grow faster 70% size .> cold> - > warm --- 2 months i fed them carrots zucchini etc put a few bricks in tanks helps
would love to know how the crab get started, does he breed/get eggs?
are they happy?
impressive patient innovator well done
I want one as a pet but I dont know how much fresh water and salt I should use? Can I just use ocean salt water from beach for mud crab pet
Are they breeding the crabs or just growing small crabs into big crabs?
Super smart, super innovative !!!
How very ingenious! Love it!
Very creative ❤❤❤❤
my dyslexic ass read the thumbnail as the man who repairs crabs at home and was really confused for a minute
When I saw the video title I misread it as 'man who wears crabs'. I was very curious about how he wears them. As shoes? As a hat? I'm very disappointed to discover he doesn't actually wear crabs.
This is genius
Imagine we are the food and our tank is Earth.
Give me a crab i also don't know what to do leh ... Lol
Very cool! Wish i lived in a climate where i could do this! I could have a treat every now and then! Also a really cool hobby! 👍
Water heaters dude. Pretty sure you can get solar powered ones as well if power cost is an issue
😅i was so thinking differently about this title.
Big salute sir.
That (served with chilli) is my absolute favorite food, pushing out filet mignon.
This management consultant a lot of time ah? Solid
Grab drivers also directors of many companies nowadays
Awesome
Poor crabs have to live in such a confined space.
Holy crab! I had no idea this was even possible! Can anyone post his farm's address? Seriously looking forward to building my own.
Never knew crab are holy
@@KamarulHisyam-pp1og 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@KamarulHisyam-pp1og until you start kuali that crab
Never knew a few drawers of crabs constituted as farm. Grow vegetables - faster, cheaper, easier and healthier. And definitely less stinky.
Does he have a Website link?
brilliant!
I admire those viewers who see that this is only good when treated as a hobby. I have been keeping fish in several aquaria and ponds at home and the cost involved is much more expensive than driving to and from and buying at the wet market. 😅
Any tutorials over the internet? This is a great course.
Even crabs lives in condos in Singapore ….
Can this done in our small hdb flats like a 4 room flat?
Great job. Innovative. ** 👏🏼 👏🏼
Dude. Great effin video. That's how you UA-cam!
🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
Somebody call PETA, this man is rearing crabs at home!!
Wise man. I rear crayfish in my pond, maybe i should do crabs as well
Even crabs is undergoing a housing crisis, living like New Yorkers
I know a family who rears live cray fish but it’s in their garden
I like catching them or buying them. Growing them takes too long and the amount of money put into growing them might cost more than the crabs themselves.
Brilliant man…he memorized the yabbie plan and accommodated it for crabs years later. And it’s a totally enclosed system with the exterior pond and a UV sterilizing system. This is the animal version of ‘vertical farming.’
Great marketing….i like how he compares a crab with a fish.
The only issue is anthropomorphizing the crab and saying it’s ‘happy’ when the algae grows back and blocks out the sunlight. Crabs don’t get happy. Crabs are crabs.
"Happy" is a stretch. I do think that animals feel "comfort" though. Most are very sensitive to certain environmental factors that you would think shouldn't physically affect them.
Oh c'mon. Are you thinking that the word happy used in humans is the same happiness crabs should feel.
You can't possibly know whether or not a crab gets happy.
It is interesting that farm animals have been getting smaller room to live just like humans with those apartments in years
Can cook and eat, and save money
太有创意了
Hi, how to apply for the crab farming course?
Apply crab safety course at TP maxwell road😂😂
Brilliant.
Got big landed keep flamingo also can
this reminds me of some netflix movie where the prisoner feed on the food leftover by the prisoner on the higher floors
Nice info
So a crab can grow big in a small drawer like that?
power!
I wanna be in his secret bunker when the doo doo arrives
#BeingSaneInInsanePlaces
Cool hobby. But if its for food, is it cheaper to do this taking into account the total costs (electricity, the boxes, water bill?, cleaning equipment and lab chemiclas for the various water quality checks etc versus going to East coast park or wherever and just buying a crab for your chilli?
Excellent!
Madness ! 😂
Only in singapore crabs got condo first than me
Toyogo heights
sorry no disrespect but isn't shannon a girl's name plus the ponytail? regardless I am extremely proud of this young person's passion.
Looks more like a hobby. In JB, I see people use an entire shophouse 2nd floor to rear swiftlets to make bird nests soup…
Are those plastic containers BPA-free?
Singaporean nosy neighbor comes to totally mind this.😂
Neighbor will call police and say we harboring illegal crab immigrants😂😂😂
This is very important because he can help with restoration of the blue crabs of the Caribbean and in the north Atlantic ocean for their population has dropped he should do online classes to spread this important message
what restoration? as the guy who studied under him said, they get the crabs when they're mid sized and grow them large, they don't breed them.
You can do this everywhere. He should upload a diy . Great.
You could add shades if the crabs dont like the light
Too tiny space for a crab - could it possibly be animal abuse!?
Ray Sheng, the man behind Raydy Beehoon and Hot Hideout
I'm surely won't do this because once I grow my crabs, I won't eat them. I'll feel attached to them
Tell that to Homer Simpson when he grew a lobster…
How many condos i need to be able to eat crabs everyweek forever?
10, can call it Forest crab city
Wait till the otters figure out how to get them.
Is the water used is salin water? Or fresh water
Does HDB regulate this?
That is good housing concept
I live next to the beach, im so lucky 😅
Hahahaha i love this!
So nobody's gonna mention the guy rearing a crab?
Interesting and creative entrepreneur.
all the best bro
why not go jb side, lease a pond, and scale it ? labor is cheap, so just employ locals and monitor / give instructions it via cctv
I'm interested ,how to enroll on this course, I'm from the Philippines
Just a little sad that they grow bigger alone. Possible to have a friend?
don't lah, later one friend gets picked for boiler and the other cry for days.
crab have cannibalistic tendency. just saying
Great vid, I wonder if lobster or abalone can be grown too.
Interesting, I am very interested in this as a project to help my family
