I keep bees and save all my clean wax (mainly cappings from when you extract the honey). I use it for screws, etc among other things, to make a food grade leather/wood polish that I use on any guitar I overhaul. There's not much beeswax in it - less than 10% - but it is lovely for dry necks and the sheen lasts for ages. And no so called 'lemon oil' in sight.
I've been meaning to ask about wax potting because it's been years since you had that video. I'm sure you used another type of wax and mixed it in a certain ratio but I can't remember. Also, if I need a pressure cooker or I could just use the old milk saucepan.
Hey Will, what about those Maple Leafs!!! OH! Hope you had a Merry Christmas bro! And a Happy New-Year with no bullshit heart problems bro!! Hey you got a real president again! Go Trump Go!!!! What about those Chinese drones!!!? Jack ~'()'~
ARRRGH! I go NUTS when I can't find my fret end file! I safe edge all of my small files on the grinder. Thanks for the video and doing your best to not kill the bees. If the bees die we die!
