"Gilligan's Island" was a great show! It was both funny and adventurous, seeing the island was visited by all kinds of characters throughout its three-year run.
How funny, the professor wants to help Gilligan with his sore throat and Gilligan thinks he is going to use his guillotine. This was such a fun show for kids and adults.
In the beginning scene you can see Alan Hale walking with a slight limp. I have noticed this in other episodes. It appears he has a bad right leg or knee; or maybe a bad hip.
Professor: "It's a guillotine....and it's GOOD for chopping,TOO!" (blade comes down). Gilligan:gulps.. Skipper:"I think Gilligan's a bit scared.." Later Mary Ann and Ginger boiling wild oleander! Mary Ann:"To get rid of the mice around the hut."
It wasn't a total loss for Gilligan & The Skipper when they found newspapers in the crate they found in the lagoon when they were hoping the food in there was anything but coconuts.
Great suspense in this episode but can you imagine what the Vegas odds would be of 5 people who were total strangers to the Skipper and Gilligan before the shipwreck of each having a common enemy whom they each individually confront the night before the shipwreck - and of the newspaper reporting they were under suspicion washing up on the very island they were all shipwrecked on?
Like skipper and gilligan, laurel and hardy were castaways on a atoll crusoeland in their film utopia and tom hanks in castaway the things gilligan didnt tell us about the benefits health of coconuts
Well, you just don't know people, if you think that's the case. What about an accidental death or something? People can be good and still stuff like that happen.
Actually almost anyone can be provoked to murder - not necessarily premeditated but as a crime of passion. In this case of the 5 castaways suspected by the Skipper and Gilligan of murdering Randolph Blake, 4 of them had a monetary motive for his death - the 5th (Ginger) had a romantic motive.
2022 Rules forever I'm Louie dalpalma and all the rock n roll singer s they play on Kool 108 forever promise to god. Steve Fikes Bobbie wheeler and my mom Sandi shoen and all the rock n roll singer s they play on Kool 108 forever promise to god. These two are so classic together. I sure miss both of them. They brought a lot of laughter into the household.
Laurel and Hardyesque!!!!!!!
I love The Brady Bunch, but Gilligan’s Island is the show I could live inside forever…
That look on Gilligan and Skipper's face at the end of the Professor's guillotine presentation is priceless.
Good thing that the Ecua-Rico tyrant didn't have that when Gilligan was his puppet ruler!
I like the way the skipper is protective of his little buddy.
Dave Hampton you can see the influence of Laurel and Hardy on Gilligan and Skipper.

From socialites to bank robbers to aviator pilots even ducks and pigeons
Never fails to put me in a good mood. 😁

These episodes are absolutely priceless!!
This was one of the funniest Gilligan Island shows. Even Gilligan &'skipper would not trust each other.
Funny Gilligan has a sore throats when he sees the guillotine and the professor has just the idea how to cure it. Yikes!
Yeesh!!😮
Hum, wonder how the professor found metal to make a guillotine? I guess the same way we wonder why he could not make a boat.
Probably from the minnow.
Mitchell Poulsen the whole boat falls apart at the end of the first season so he can’t fix it because it’s gone
@@mauralawton3260 in later episodes the minnow appears complete. Beached in the sand
A little trivia for you, "coconut" used to be a slang term for head. That's just one of many reasons I find this scene so funny.
Thats interesting about the coconuts. I had no idea. thanks for the information Andrew.
Yikes Professor, we finally see your animalistic instincts coming out. This was one of the funniest episodes on Gilligan's Island.
I love the show. It's better than what passes for comedy today. BTW Russell Johnson aka the professor saw action in ww2 and received a purple heart.
The Professor is straight up savage. LMAO
And he spoke of the islanders as savages
In the beginning scene you can see Alan Hale walking with a slight limp. I have noticed this in other episodes. It appears he has a bad right leg or knee; or maybe a bad hip.
Love it when the skipper looks right at the camera
Me and my husband still always say, “he did it, he did it! “And “she did it, she did it! “All the time. LOL OL
Professor: "It's a guillotine....and it's GOOD for chopping,TOO!"
(blade comes down).
Gilligan:gulps..
Skipper:"I think Gilligan's a bit scared.."
Later
Mary Ann and Ginger boiling wild oleander!
Mary Ann:"To get rid of the mice around the hut."
Awesome episodes.
Amazing what Gilligan hooks in.
He can even hook in a World War II mine.
It’s amazing how that wood crate was so water tight, the contents were dry when they opened it??
This was the best episode of gilligan's island
Skipper and Gilligan remind me of Fred and Barney on the Flintstones, lol
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Fred and Barney were modelled after Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton. But I see where you're coming from.
It wasn't a total loss for Gilligan & The Skipper when they found newspapers in the crate they found in the lagoon when they were hoping the food in there was anything but coconuts.
It’s a bit strange Gilligan thinks the professor is the murderer. He seems like the most unlikely suspect.
You can see the Lowell & Hardy routine in this episode.
It s amazing they always found things and were nt able to get off the island!
2:36 Mary Ann is the most innocent-looking person!
Interesting coincidence that a newspaper wrapping coconuts has an article about the castaways.
How long does it take to fall off a boat and wash a shore especially when your 300 miles away from the mainland
Now i can survive on an island
I loved it so awesome 😀 good job
Sherwood Schwartz was quite imaginative in each episode

well I think I should be thanked for creating something that will lighten the workload and...murder!?
I always thought it was Ginger.
I live on Gilligan s
Isle.the Philippines!
Nobody among those castaways could seriously be a murderer.
Well, you just don't know people, if you think that's the case. What about an accidental death or something? People can be good and still stuff like that happen.

ANYONE NOTICE ..THEY JUST FISHED OUT OF WATER AND THE BOX AND CONTENTS INCLUDING PAPER WAS DRY
Because the box sealed it.
I would die of starvation because I dont like coconuts and I dont eat anything that comes out of water. I'd just be SOL
Professor robespierre
So who was the murderer?
Was the professor creating a coconut Bastille
Gilligan has MAD nicotine fingers at 1:56 LOL
@Fickdich LOL
That's how they kept Shirley Temple so small they gave her 4 packs of cigarettes a day to stunt her growth.
Maybe there was a MAD magazine page covering a coconut!
😂😂😂
