The entire world grieves with you and every child who has lived through this most horrendous attempt of cultural genocide, Phyllis. We are horrified at what's taken place and at how very many babies were stolen from their mother's loving arms to attend these torture chambers of "education". I live in Newfoundland on the West coast and my dad was French/Indian Miq'maw. We didn't have the residential schools in Newfoundland, thank God, but the racism and torture at the hands of the sister of 'no' mercy were none the less felt by Indigenous and french-speaking students. We share in your grief for the lost and tortured babies. Much love and heart felt empathy. Thank you for sharing your story and lighting the world on fire. God Bless you and every Indigenous person who has suffered so very much.
