- US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller went from claiming no involvement in the pager blasts to calling targeting of Hezbollah members as legitimate. He, however, refused to answer a reporter’s question on whether Israeli settlers accused of breaking international laws should also be legitimate targets by others.

We do consider the settlers terrorist as they instigate trouble in the West Bank and then use the landowner’s self defense as an excuse to raze Palestinian homes and steal their land. While alive the landowner has the hope of a day in court to prove their inheritance rights. Dead they no longer have that option. The settlers are terrorist. As Reagan once stated, “One man’s freedom fighter is another man’s terrorist.” The Palestinian cause is a just one- the settler’s cause is a travesty of Justice.

Pay very close attention to his language usage. They were aware of the pagers with explosives in them, they were aware (may have been who told Israel) that the explosives were found, and were aware that Israel would detonate those explosives if they couldn't take out the guy who discovered it, like they did the previous guy a few weeks before, which the US may have also been involved with. (These reporters need to get more specific with these questions basically, if they want answers, but they also should probably focus on completely different topics regarding where the line is and the lines Israel has already passed, because it looks like this admin is submissive to Israel at this point.)
