Boarding Life at Aitchison College

There are many benefits to living in a diverse, caring and strongly-focused boarding community, but none more so than gaining a network of close friends in a secure and positive environment. A boarder quickly finds a 'home away from home' at Aitchison, and we welcome boys from all backgrounds. Being part of a close-knit community, boarders are able to connect on a deeper level and build life-long friendships.
Boarders have access to a glorious 200-acre campus that offers a wide range of educational and sporting facilities. Boarders work and play as part of a team, and gain a true sense of what it is to be an Aitchisonian. By the time they graduate and become an ACOBA member, they look back with lasting happy memories.
There are 6 boarding houses at Aitchison, all with excellent facilities. A boarder’s life graduates from Gwyn (Years 1-5) to Saigol (Years 6-8) to Bahawalpur (Year 9), and then to one of the 3 senior houses: Leslie Jones, Godley, and Kelly (Years 10 to 13).
Boarders have access to excellent on-campus medical staff. Excellent leadership programs and assigned responsibilities ensure that boys learn the value of independence as well as teamwork.
