@@xhynetuseinovski few questions, I want visit the park from Chicago is 3 hours , did u stay there? Or u back home the Same day ? Is any food I can buy at the park ? Is restroom’s at the park ? Water to drink ?? Thanks
No way you’ve been here before I love going to Dave’s doorway and balance rock and have you ever gone to the Dells before it’s so fun I go here every year for camping😊😊😊😊❤❤
I think I know how you got lost. I hiked the east bluff for the 1st time yesterday and the trail all of sudden made a cut back which I didn't see. If it wasn't for my hiking buddy I may have wander off trail without knowing. When it happened I said to him. They should have a sign here pointing to the correct direction. I believe so many people have made the same mistake so many times it has created a false trail.
i love devils lake! i love getting away with no service and living my life. i’m also on planning to go next week, during the week. do you think there is going to be a lot of people during the week days?
Feeling like your are off the grid is amazing! It was a weekday when we went and honestly it was pretty packed. We still found parking right by north beach. If I remember correctly, we got there at noon and I thought it would be busier. Have fun ☺️
We might be heading there this weekend - did you have to get the state park sticker thing? Also, how long did the hike last roughly? It appears you went all around the park pretty much. Lastly, what do you recommend for food and lodging nearby?
So after some research (I didn’t realize you had to pay for a pass) I discovered that you could purchase a daily pass at the park. However due to Covid, people working there said I had to call the 1-800 number to purchase it via phone. I kid you not, the phone line was so busy that I could not get a hold of anybody. I literally tried for hours! I eventually gave up and took the risk of leaving my car without a pass. Luckily nothing happened. The hike around the entire lake, including all of the most popular things to see with only one 30 min break at south beach, took about 4 hours. It seemed like all the places at the park that you could get food were closed. We packed a cooler. We didn’t utilize lodging (it was just a day trip) but it appeared most camp sites were still open.
I'd imagine it's hard to get lost as there is a giant lake in the center but what devices work there? AllTrails? No cell service right? What about radio in case there's an emergency and you need extraction?
I do know they have stretcher/medical stations, don't recall if they had radio. Assumed they did? At least last I went a little over a year ago. Might have gotten signal occasionally but low speed. Place isn't really easy to lost, so. And it's almost always packed on summer weekends.
I’m goin tomorrow. I’m native and it’s a sacred place for my ancestors. It’s called holy water to us. I’m pretty excited ❤️
I grew up in that lake, there's something about that place, it was once a native settlement
I've been there 10 years ago and watched this to remind myself what it was like. Such an awesome place 👌
Definitely a top 10 place to visit in the midwest!

Wow so nice with how few people are there. We went on a weekend and it was packed
Yeah man it was a cool place!
We are here right now. Thanks. From Mi heading to Washington
We now live there. Amazing part of the Driftless.
I was up there last weekend and somehow we ended up coming down the same spot you did off the East Bluff. Not the route down I would take again.
We just went there! The views are amazing and my legs hurt really bad but we took a trail hat went all around the lake and walked 6 miles
Glad you had a great time :) Devil’s Lake really is a gem!
Nurse Xhynet yes it sure is

It's part of an exposed through erosion ancient mountain, it's like 5 miles wide and 25 miles long if I remember right.
I was wondering if you knew if we could still get a camping spot in person or if we have too call now due too covid-19
I believe you will have to call or book online for a camping reservation.

Yes you need to pay for a day pass or annual sticker
is 1 day enough to see all the cool places in the park?
More than enough. We got there at like 10am and stayed till about 5p.
@@xhynetuseinovski Thanks
What trail did you go on?
My favourite place in the whole world
Planning to visit there do they have cell signal there?
Lau L Cell signal was tricky. About 95% of the time you wouldn’t have it. North beach has free wifi though.

Great Video!!!! Devil's Lake is My Favorite State Park!!!! F+L, Corey
If you like devils lake, visit Timms Hill, its the highest point in the state and is a short 3-4 hour drive away😂
Sweet, we’ve been looking for a new adventure. Thanks!
I’m going there this Thursday or Friday. Nice video, are you using GoPro camera?
Yes this video is shot with the GoPro Hero8 Black. My recent trip to the Smoky Mountains and Florida I used the Sony A6400.
In PS 1 there's a game called Big Ol' Bass 2 and we fishing in Devil's Lake to catch Diabo (Big Catfish) who swallowed a man
Going there tomorrow! :D
Enjoy should be loads of fun!
Nice photos, but seriously, you need to learn the difference between an eagle and a vulture, lol.
Me coming bake from this place TO DAY (I live in Wisconsin)
Nice video. Could have done without the plumber crack at 8:30..
Thanks Brandon! No comment on the crack LOL
That was my fav part

@@xhynetuseinovski dogs are allowed in devils lake only with leash I was there today 9/6/21
O upon
I absolutely hate devils lake!! It was kinda scary plus traumatizing in a way, there were snakes in the water and I just really didn’t enjoy the place
