So I took some time and looked at this guys account, in 14500 games he got 5 kolobanovs medals, 2 in his T95, 1 in his Tiger II, 1 in his T34-3 and 1 in his STRV S1, overall is this guy not a tomato, but also he is not the smartest. What I find interesting is that 3 of the 5 kolobanovs medals are earned in camp tanks. Also the kolobanovs medal in his T34-3 must have been luck because his avg dmg in that tank just simply sucks, Tiger II kolobanovs could have been earned with skill, but I don't really think that's the case. I think this guy camps the living s+>t out of his battles just to get kolobanovs medals. Which I find very disturbing. Now I will go back to my game, because I wrote this comment while camping in my STRV 103B and I noticed my whole team has died

My only kobolanovs was an accident. Me and one other guy Capped out but the other guy died right after we finished capping so I was still alive and the enemies still had 7 tanks lol. This was also in my 13 90 and I’d had only a mediocre game (about 2k dmg or so), as I am a mediocre player
I hate players like this T95. They camp base, not helping while their team dies... then once in a rare while they have a lucky game, and then they believe that is the correct way to play.
Why in oblivion would you expect teamplay when everyone focuses on a Metric (Wn8), that only rewards farming useless damage that doesn't contribute to winning?
He was actually 100% stock and had the 127mm, and was firing HE. The T95 blocked 610 splash damage, which is the alpha of the 127mm's HE. The 14cm AP gun has 600 alpha.
Doesn't really matter, honestly. He was a moron in any case, because when the t95 gave him the roof, any gun on that tank has the caliber to overmatch it. If he had the top gun, even failing to pen would have done at least 600 damage by shooting that. In case you're wondering, any 120mm gun and up can overmatch it. The same thing exists on the E3, though that tank's tall enough that it only really matters insofar as it makes the tank super vulnerable to getting HE spammed at its cupola.
"best" I don't play my Type 4 Heavy with the "best gun" because the standard ammo does less damage than the premium ammo, and I don't have a premium account. I'm not going to spend 100k+ credits in a single game.

About the clickbait stuff,well I can't deny. Probably Lemmingrush won't deny it as well He did the same with a M48patton replay later, and that one was actually QB playing.
Probably my biggest problem with QB is that by highlighting so many Kolobanovs, he gets a lot of these players who just camp uselessly all game. I've played 23,700 games and never gotten a Kolobanovs. I'm almost never the last one alive on my team because when I see the enemy killing my team, I try to get in there and fight. Maybe one day I will get one, but I would be ashamed if I got it by camping base in a top tier tank all game. I have gotten the equivalent "solo warrior" in World of Warships, because in that game, winning by points and capping is more viable.
It took me ~13.5k battles to get my only Kolobanovs (was actually featured on Claus's channel in the dreaded T-34-2 XD) Im a blue player with purple recents, and I think the reason it took me so long was the same reason you listed. Helping your team win the game is going to net way more wins than setting yourself up for a 1v5. These lucky replays just encourage bad players to never learn :/
it depends man, when you know you are the most important tank in the team and have the skills and matchmaking to back you up, you need to make sure you are the last one to die while doing damage, cuz that offers you the best chance to win
Damn right. I think QB got side-tracked by all the shining medals and the lonewolf-team-carrier mentality which isn't what the game supposed to be. WoT is meant to promote team coordination. My only Kolobanovs came from a broken engine, ammoracked t34 (1 time use consumables back then) which held out agianst 6 tier IX-X tanks in a defending Sand River. My teammates actually withered away just to cover me from enemy fire...... For me games like that is the most enjoyable to watch, no medals needed, yet everyone is happy, 2 3k damage each, and a truly good game from both teams.
What to say about this replay.. quickybaby shouldn't even feature it because it promotes cancerous play style the T95 has, which made the 1v9 happen in the first place. Whenever I see a JPE100 or deathstar camps base in a 8-9-X game I know we are very likely to lose, same thing for this T95 in a 7-8-9 mm. The thing is a lot of HT players (most HTs in this battle except the mauschen) don't know they have the S key, which makes their tank go backwards and a lot of TD players (like the T95 and enemy strv 103) don't know they have the W key which makes their tank go forwards. Knowing that tanks have tracks, which make the tank move is a whole new level for them, not to mention the square on bottom right corner is called the "map". Overall, Lemming's critical perspective of this replay is what I expected to see from a pro player, instead of quickybaby's "wow look at that fantastic 1v9" type of attitude.
Please correct me if I am wrong. At around 3:10 in QB's video he started talking about the T95 not doing anything for the first 3 mins and then turned away to the topic of its speed. On the other hand, Lemming started talking about how the T95 can help winning one line if the player decided to go there and use its strength at around 1:00. How I interpret this is they have different, almost opposite attitudes toward the action of T95 camping in the TD location with other TDs. QB's comment might give people a feeling that since T95 is too slow, it can get away with sitting in the back while Lemming emphasizes the strength of the armor of T95 together with the top tier matchmaking and no arty in the battle to generate the conclusion that T95 should go help win a line for the team. That is the reason I believe they did not basically say the same thing in their videos.
It's just QB's style. He is not in your face with his criticism, but if you actually listen to him you will find he does indeed criticize people/WG from time to time. It's just people expect this very direct "you are bad, mkay?" approach, while QB is simply much more subtle. At least for the last two years or something. That being said, QB's style is more of an enterteiner, like a sport commentator, while LR is more of an analitical in nature.
the Maushen was pinned and probably the only thing he can do on that flank is to spot the tanks that is going up and the tanks that is flanking, But the t95 just wants him dead since every time the Maushen fires at the north the guys at the south fires on the side of his turret.

This is old but I kept telling people this as well. The reason why I don't have many huge damage games is because I A: Am usually on the frontlines and will usually end up dead from making shit happen B: Helping my team mates push and because of such instead of camping and farming damage it lowers my damage but raises my WR to around +-60% C: My enemies tend to not be mentally retarded and push into me one at a time I literally watch some of these high damage games and it had nothing to do with killing skillful players (something that I prioritize since i'm a near 100% solo player and if I want to win I have to take those people out), it has everything to do with both his/her team and the enemy team being trash so you just farm gg ez. No idea why people chase damage, it's just a means to an end which is winning. Go for the win, not for damage and as you improve damage will come naturally.
I agree with you lemming, as much as I love QB's videos and perspective, he is the greedy kind of players that wants damage mostly himself, it kinda seems you're less into it and prefer to win. For me I would take the chance to do great but in the same time I would rather choose to help my team, by farming damage. I play the Strv S1 as a camper but I rarely got left in a 1 vs many situation, I would absolutely switch flanks or change position to help my team through and I believe this is the safer way of a great mastery badge ace tanker. I have a 7k mastery much tanker in this map, exactly the same location scheme but on the other side, I farmed damage as much as I can holding two flanks with my view range then got down of position, told the T59 to fall back so it can stay alive and I would be able to kill the last enemy tank without spilling more blood. The thing is even if you don't have much armor you really have to fight beside your team, being greedy isn't always wins you games or even damage, trust me. I'm dark blue, almost a unicum and I wish I could always make a win for my team, there are the good ones, bad ones and some that do help, it's all going to increase stats, what's cooler than a player one of your team telling you thanks or GG after saving him/her life or carrying the battle alongside him/her?

I got a Kolobanovs once in a TOG II of all tanks. This was like five years ago, when the meta was much different. The game reminded me a lot of that match, I was top tier on the karelia map with a lot of tier 4 tanks, everyone rushed and died, I was sniping from the base since there was shots. Next thing I know there are red tanks and I was the only tank left. What did the red team do? Rushed me of course, one or two even rammed me! I made it through the rush and there was a couple tanks left at that point I wasn't sure what to do since they could spot me and cap me out, so I took a chance and started toward the enemy base and what did I run into driving through the middle of the map? Two red team tanks just sitting in bushes, lol. One in a million game, wish I had the replay for it, it took two terrible teams to give me a epic game in a TOG.
I am going to agree with you about not calling your team mates retards, at any point in the game not just the beginning. As I do play WOT, and I see a lot of it as well as people saying BS like Americans are Fascist, and that all American's should die. And to be honest, when I hear stuff like that coming from my own team mates, all it really makes me want to do is provide "ZERO", support during the battle to my own team mates. It also in some cases makes me really want to just shoot that team mate, which is also not good. Also another thing that irritates me, is when people throw stuff into the battle that involves Politics, as you are not winning friends or influencing people to help you when you need it. To be honest it is in my personal opinion, showing everyone that you really are a poor sport, and not a team player. Oh and I do know I will probably catch some crap responses, to this post but honestly I do not care as you have a valid point about name calling in the game and it should be stopped.

The red team is the kind of team I get way too many times, the have no situational awareness and wait until a team mate is dead before taking action. The T95 is one of those players that you want to call a dick but know you will just look salty when you do . One last thing Having watched a lot of both your vids and QB's vids it is clear that you are both very good players, skilled and intelligent, I don't quite understand the negativity toward QB in the comments here.
QB said on stream that this game was “a spectacle” - he acknowledged people’s complaints, and acknowledged at the end of the video that the T95 player was being a bit of a dick. Thanks for your videos Lemming, I especially enjoyed the live T54 gameplay - felt like I learned a lot :).

You can actually shoot ap with a type 4 heavy against a t95, since the type 4 gun overmatches the roof of a t95. And seeing how the t95 is tilted forward on this slope... Hitting the roof should have been easy.
Last T95 I fought close up, I got behind and shoved his back end out of line so he couldn't aim at my teammates anymore. I don't know what everyone was thinking. If something doesn't have a turret why would you ever want to be in front of it?
There were at least average players on that team. The T34 charged the T95 while he was reloading. The STRV crossed to get in cap while the T95 was reloading. If that T44 and Tiger helped the T34, they win. If the enemy takes advantage of the T95 needing to reset, they win. Decent plays by average or better players can be entirely undone by moronic play by your teammates.
I got my one and only Radley-Walter's back when I was orange. And we all know how most Kolobanov's are awarded... Yea, rewarding, skill based gameplay, what we're all into WoT for.
Receipt for a 10K epic game in a T95: 1. Let your team die 2. There is no arty 3. Take an OP position where you can funnel the enemy. 4. Have a retarded bunch of muppets as your enemy (coming frontaly one-by-one, sitting still, no flanking attempts, trying to reverse faster than t95 forward speed, trying caping and shooting the t-95 frontaly at the same time etc.)
What happens to me in the T95 a lot is I'll pick a flank, and the team will do so well they leave me behind to the point I can no longer assist them.. Then the team on the other flank dies.... **** Now I have to go back in a T95 with a top speed of a slug in November. So on my way back, the team that did so well over extends into the open and... suddenly dies at the exact moment I reach our cap... next thing that happens is everyone who just died looks at the map sees me at the base and thinks i camped there the entire game... I cant tell you how often that happens I get bitched out for their stupidity. THIS guy however, did exactly this, he sat at the base being useless in a top tier fortress and only carried the game because the entire enemy team paid their way to the tanks they had.

Yeah, but that's just QB's style. He is more subtle, while LR is more in your face and direct. If you actually listen to QB, or maybe better, read a script of what he said in the video, you will see he made all the points that LR did in this video. I can agree, that QB is less analitical in his vidoes and so he doesn't talk that much about tactics and so on, he is more of an entertainer, but this video in particular really had everything what LR said about it.
Every time I drive my T95 I either get to my flank and the enemy team is completely dead and I can't keep up with the killing or my team is dead and I get swarmed. But once in a great while I get to use my T95 to push a flank and it makes it all worth it.
I have a question. Yep... I'm a nub... But what is the deal with QB and LR? seems to be some emotion there. I've watched a few of both vids. and I've often see LR compared to QB and vise versa. Please do spill the beans.

It took them forever to figure out to cap, and they had a chance to track him from behind and couldn't pull it off. "How do I get enemies like this?" Indeed! I totally agree with that opinion, I'm struggling with my T28Prot to get above 2nd mastery so I watched some mastery replays with this tank and I was just thinking "how can you be that luck", "how can he make so bad moves throwing most of his hp away and still get mastery badge" it's like all those epic games people have are 99% luck, you don't need any skill at all to get one you just need to be lucky because even if you play a lot you may not get one. And it seems especially true with TD's.
Problem with some gamers (not Lemming) is that they try to make something really complex out of this game because it's their only source of income. That's why we have different types of tanks, many of them obsolete.

This is old but I kept telling people this as well. The reason why I don't have many huge damage games is because I
A: Am usually on the frontlines and will usually end up dead from making shit happen
B: Helping my team mates push and because of such instead of camping and farming damage it lowers my damage but raises my WR to around +-60%
C: My enemies tend to not be mentally retarded and push into me one at a time
I literally watch some of these high damage games and it had nothing to do with killing skillful players (something that I prioritize since i'm a near 100% solo player and if I want to win I have to take those people out), it has everything to do with both his/her team and the enemy team being trash so you just farm gg ez. No idea why people chase damage, it's just a means to an end which is winning. Go for the win, not for damage and as you improve damage will come naturally.

I agree with you lemming, as much as I love QB's videos and perspective, he is the greedy kind of players that wants damage mostly himself, it kinda seems you're less into it and prefer to win. For me I would take the chance to do great but in the same time I would rather choose to help my team, by farming damage. I play the Strv S1 as a camper but I rarely got left in a 1 vs many situation, I would absolutely switch flanks or change position to help my team through and I believe this is the safer way of a great mastery badge ace tanker. I have a 7k mastery much tanker in this map, exactly the same location scheme but on the other side, I farmed damage as much as I can holding two flanks with my view range then got down of position, told the T59 to fall back so it can stay alive and I would be able to kill the last enemy tank without spilling more blood. The thing is even if you don't have much armor you really have to fight beside your team, being greedy isn't always wins you games or even damage, trust me. I'm dark blue, almost a unicum and I wish I could always make a win for my team, there are the good ones, bad ones and some that do help, it's all going to increase stats, what's cooler than a player one of your team telling you thanks or GG after saving him/her life or carrying the battle alongside him/her?

I got a Kolobanovs once in a TOG II of all tanks. This was like five years ago, when the meta was much different. The game reminded me a lot of that match, I was top tier on the karelia map with a lot of tier 4 tanks, everyone rushed and died, I was sniping from the base since there was shots. Next thing I know there are red tanks and I was the only tank left. What did the red team do? Rushed me of course, one or two even rammed me! I made it through the rush and there was a couple tanks left at that point I wasn't sure what to do since they could spot me and cap me out, so I took a chance and started toward the enemy base and what did I run into driving through the middle of the map? Two red team tanks just sitting in bushes, lol. One in a million game, wish I had the replay for it, it took two terrible teams to give me a epic game in a TOG.
I am going to agree with you about not calling your team mates retards, at any point in the game not just the beginning. As I do play WOT, and I see a lot of it as well as people saying BS like Americans are Fascist, and that all American's should die. And to be honest, when I hear stuff like that coming from my own team mates, all it really makes me want to do is provide "ZERO", support during the battle to my own team mates. It also in some cases makes me really want to just shoot that team mate, which is also not good. Also another thing that irritates me, is when people throw stuff into the battle that involves Politics, as you are not winning friends or influencing people to help you when you need it. To be honest it is in my personal opinion, showing everyone that you really are a poor sport, and not a team player. Oh and I do know I will probably catch some crap responses, to this post but honestly I do not care as you have a valid point about name calling in the game and it should be stopped.

The red team is the kind of team I get way too many times, the have no situational awareness and wait until a team mate is dead before taking action. The T95 is one of those players that you want to call a dick but know you will just look salty when you do .
One last thing Having watched a lot of both your vids and QB's vids it is clear that you are both very good players, skilled and intelligent, I don't quite understand the negativity toward QB in the comments here.
QB said on stream that this game was “a spectacle” - he acknowledged people’s complaints, and acknowledged at the end of the video that the T95 player was being a bit of a dick.

You can actually shoot ap with a type 4 heavy against a t95, since the type 4 gun overmatches the roof of a t95. And seeing how the t95 is tilted forward on this slope... Hitting the roof should have been easy.

Last T95 I fought close up, I got behind and shoved his back end out of line so he couldn't aim at my teammates anymore. I don't know what everyone was thinking. If something doesn't have a turret why would you ever want to be in front of it?

There were at least average players on that team. The T34 charged the T95 while he was reloading. The STRV crossed to get in cap while the T95 was reloading. If that T44 and Tiger helped the T34, they win. If the enemy takes advantage of the T95 needing to reset, they win. Decent plays by average or better players can be entirely undone by moronic play by your teammates.
What LemmingRush here highlights in this video, is what most average players do, because they don't understand what players like LemmingRush knows.

Receipt for a 10K epic game in a T95:
1. Let your team die
2. There is no arty
3. Take an OP position where you can funnel the enemy.
4. Have a retarded bunch of muppets as your enemy (coming frontaly one-by-one, sitting still, no flanking attempts, trying to reverse faster than t95 forward speed, trying caping and shooting the t-95 frontaly at the same time etc.)
What happens to me in the T95 a lot is I'll pick a flank, and the team will do so well they leave me behind to the point I can no longer assist them.. Then the team on the other flank dies.... **** Now I have to go back in a T95 with a top speed of a slug in November. So on my way back, the team that did so well over extends into the open and... suddenly dies at the exact moment I reach our cap... next thing that happens is everyone who just died looks at the map sees me at the base and thinks i camped there the entire game... I cant tell you how often that happens I get bitched out for their stupidity. THIS guy however, did exactly this, he sat at the base being useless in a top tier fortress and only carried the game because the entire enemy team paid their way to the tanks they had.

Yeah, but that's just QB's style. He is more subtle, while LR is more in your face and direct. If you actually listen to QB, or maybe better, read a script of what he said in the video, you will see he made all the points that LR did in this video. I can agree, that QB is less analitical in his vidoes and so he doesn't talk that much about tactics and so on, he is more of an entertainer, but this video in particular really had everything what LR said about it.

Every time I drive my T95 I either get to my flank and the enemy team is completely dead and I can't keep up with the killing or my team is dead and I get swarmed. But once in a great while I get to use my T95 to push a flank and it makes it all worth it.

This guy may very well be a good player, but you can't tell from this replay. Yeah, he has seen your TD guide, lol. I have to agree that this win was a gift from the bad play of his enemies. It took them forever to figure out to cap, and they had a chance to track him from behind and couldn't pull it off.

I totally agree with that opinion, I'm struggling with my T28Prot to get above 2nd mastery so I watched some mastery replays with this tank and I was just thinking "how can you be that luck", "how can he make so bad moves throwing most of his hp away and still get mastery badge" it's like all those epic games people have are 99% luck, you don't need any skill at all to get one you just need to be lucky because even if you play a lot you may not get one. And it seems especially true with TD's.

Problem with some gamers (not Lemming) is that they try to make something really complex out of this game because it's their only source of income. That's why we have different types of tanks, many of them obsolete.
With this replay, QB's subscribers will camp base all the time and hope to have very very very bad ennemies :(
