Hi there! Thanks for the video. I'm desperate because after 3 months out of the courts my forehand is gone. I've tried everything and no matter how much I train and shadow and everything...anything works... I brush too much and there is no power. Main difficulty is going from unit turn to hitting! I'm lost
As much as I appreciate the content you'd been uploading previously, it was getting a bit stale yeah. So I hope to see more videos like this from you! Since you mentioned adapting to different conditions, how do you manage playing against the sun? Is it just a matter of letting your eyes get used to the increased luminance? I personally struggle to read the ball's depth and spin effectively, so hitting clean high-quality shots becomes a lot harder than I'm used to. I don't really like wearing a hat as it restricts my peripheral vision and I'm not sure if specialized sunglasses are worth the investment. Any advice?
Thank you for your comment. Playing into the sun, I use a cap. I used to feel a little restricted wearing it, but I got used to it eventually. In terms of optimal performance, it's hard to advise sunglasses. You never see pro's wearing glasses because it impacts ball judgement slightly. With that said, if you live in a place that is very hot with lots of sun it can be a good idea for longevity.
My coach tells me turn inwards the wrist a bit but then is not relaxed and there is no "snap'
