Introducing Hollyhock | CH24 Soft Colours Collection 2022 | Hans J. Wegner x Ilse Crawford

To celebrate Hans J. Wegner’s more than 70 years of collaboration with Carl Hansen & Søn, the company is now expanding its collaboration with London-based designer Ilse Crawford to include the Wishbone Chair in nine new colours.
The deep and complex colours are inspired by the Danish artist Per Kirkeby, nodding to the raw beauty of the Nordic landscape.
The second colour to launch is Hollyhock, a joyful reference to the towering plant that flourishes in mid-summer, and a reverent nod to Kirkeby’s use of yellow to portray the incandescence of the sun. The saturated shade has a soft, matte finish in water-based paint that perfectly complements any interior design scheme.
