Garcia was money up until about the 10 yard line. He had a real problem pulling the trigger on passes into tight windows near the goal line. The Bucs had to settle for too many field goals when he was playing.
man ray jay used to pop off before the economic disaster really tore the community apart. I really dont think us being bad is the reason ray jay doesnt sell out anymore I think its just the fact that tampa has never recovered from 2008
Another factor was the original season ticket deposits. When they opened the stadium in 1998, you put down a deposit for your season tickets and it was paid back to you in full over 10 years, as long as you kept your seats. Made it easy to walk away after 2008.
The turnover on special teams for the Vikings was critical. Otherwise they played well enough to win, even though Garcia had an inspired game. Tampa really showed up on defense late. Good one to watch, thanks for posting.
Jeff Garcia. That guy could really play. He was fun to watch.
He really was! Just had happy feet!
Yea he was

your videos really show the slow decline of attendance that hit the bucs around this time
also the way they treated the release of Derrick Brooks didnt help either
Let me ask a question: has the stadium atmosphere improved since the Bucs signed Brady?

Even after most of the 90s/early 2000s Bucs defense from the Dungy years aged out or left, the Vikings STILL had problems against the team in Tampa!
From 2008 the year I graduated from high school
Please tell me you have Grudens last game against Oakland that year.
I unfortunately don't brother sorry.
GOOD 😂
Minnesota blew this game big time.
I was in da 8th grade dat year
Garcia was so erratic. He never kept his feet set to throw the ball. He wasn't' that good.
