It would be awesome if the 2015 Race at Homestead was just like this. Except Jeff running the Rainbow car with Axalta on the hood, he win's the race, and the 2015 championship!!! GO JEFF!!! Team 24! #24!
Gordon showed he doesn't just race to earn a pay check after phoenix. This guy still has the fire to give it his all and that's why I'll always be a Jeff Gordon fan.
hey rainbowwarriors24 had no idea you were from miami!! I love your channel and want to thank you for posting all the videos of jeff's wins and its great to know i have such a diehard fellow #24 fan in my home city
Now we are all waiting for #88. Just hope that he wins this year so he can get into the chase. He deserves more than 4 championships. this chase thing is a good idea but not during a regular season.
Before his win on Sunday, he had the most Top 5's, Top 10's of any driver. He was also one of a few drivers to run every Cup race at Homestead, yet didn't have the win. He won the Nationwide race there in 2000 in his 24 Pepsi car, but I was jumping because I picked him to win, and now he gets rid of the goose egg at Homestead. He will win in 2013, and one of them will be the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway, and he will win at every track. 10th in 2011, 5th in 2012, you can see the pattern.
After Jeff gave up the win yesterday, I'm starting to believe that he just doesn't have the will to win anymore. Kasey Kahne did have the best car all day long but Jeff could have held him off if he restarted on the high line, preventing Kahne from passing, keeping Jeff in clean air, and driving to the victory While I pull for Jeff every weekend, he just seems to be giving up victory after victory whenever he can pull one off. I'm just glad he's in the top 10 in points.
Other than winning the 2012 Championship, this is the best way for Jeff and DuPont to go out: winning their last race together. Although the company that bought DuPont will continue to sponsor JG, it won't be the same. 20 years together. The end of a phenomenal era! Like a race fan said on Twitter today, this is the equivalent of STP and Richard Petty in the early years. Jeff will continue to win and be competitive, but it's a shame it won't be with the DuPont logo on the hood.
Hope he gets to 100. if he does he will probably announce his retirement after the race it will be very sad as a gordon fan my whole life (born in 1998 and started watching nascar at daytona 2005 been watching every race since)
Yeah, your right, I'm dreading those days. He might race the 2015 season...Idk. I just don't think he will be racing too much longer. He wants to spend time with his family. I think 2013 will be one of the best seasons for Jeff and #Team24. Just one more championship!
glad he won this race now it's time to go get that daytona 500 again and then win not only the southern 500 at darlington, the coke 600 at charlotte in may but as well as the brickyard 400 at indy in august not to mention on his birthday of all days. to win another championship u have to win the big races in cup and ik jeff has all the talent in the world to do it and if he can do that and win at kentucky too he'll be the sprint cup champion in 2013 i can promise u that guys.
Johnson is great even though he still lost think about it the runner up since 2007 has had a bad year 2008 : Gordon, first winless season in career 2009: Carl Edwards, just a non factor 0 wins 2010 mark Martin: 0 wins 2011 Denny Hamlin: granted one win at Michigan but that was really it 2012: Carl Edwards again 0 wins and misses the chase 2013 Jimmie johnson, points leader with 4 wins, first to sweep Daytona since B.Allison that's why he's the greatest because when he loses he comes back harder
I went to the first race of the chase. Gordon had it won from the back in 2012. Only got passed once by Kyle Busch, but he passed him right back on the next lap. Gordon sure has had slot of people wreck him and a lot of parts failures...
I just realized that the last 4 seasons (2009-2012) that the driver who won at homestead made the chase -the next season. 2009 Denny hamlin 2010 2nd in points 2010 Carl Edwards 2011 2nd in points 2011 tony Stewart 2012 8th in points Do the math I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to Jimmie and Jeff next season for the championship.
It may be the last time the name DuPont is on the car, but the same people he worked with for 20 years is now going to have a special paint scheme at Talladega this year.
I think that we are going to see a lackluster year from the Johnson crew, they have starting to have internal issues and Jimmie is letting 5 get to his head, something I think we can all say Jeff never really did. He always remained humble and still is... but he loves winning... I think Jeff is going to be top 3 next year all season long...
How many wins/good finishes did he have this year and last year taken away because of equipment failure/being wrecked, and not driver error. Jimmie was so successful because the 10 chase races are his best tracks.
Oh, okay. I wasn't sure who DW drove for when he won his first 500, but that makes sense. Still, that was 8 years before Jeff drove to VL in that race. lol
You have to factor in their competition at their primes,Jeff had Earnhardt, both Labonte's who were actually great Mark martin in his prime etc, johnson has Stewart Edwards Harvick kenseth,Busch brothers but none of Johnsons competition was as consistent as Jeffs competition plus he won more,33 wins in three years (96-98) whew!
In the 90's you had to dominate to take the championship. Now, the key be consistent for 26 races THEN race like your life depends on it for the "playoffs". I remember reading somewhere that IF they had stayed with the winston point system, Gordon would have 5, Johnson, 2 and Harvick 2, the rest i can't recall.
class act after the shit brad said about him after phoenix he wants them to focus on the champion, class that most drivers never have. same at atlanta how he had a win with a bump but he tried it clean instead of forcing it
Totally agree. In the past Jimmie Johnson & Tony Stewart in the last few years always waited on the backstretch to let the winner have his moment. I guess the newbie has no idea about etiquette.
the ironic part about that race is that the driver he wrecked, which was Bowyer finished in 2nd behind him, and Johnson lost another championship baby!!!
Yeah, and it'd be nice if he could get not one more title, but 2 or 3 more. And yes, 2013 should be a GREAT year for Jeff. I just hope at Daytona he doesn't have happen to him in the 500 like in pre-season thunder at Daytona.
But if he wouldn't been in the garage he would ha I mean honestly who had the Better chance to win it all coming into this race bowyer or johnson? Thank you
Yeah, and who knows what could've happened this year- or even last- had bad luck not bitten Jeff and the #24 team in the ass. 2011, had a great year, then a not so good chase. 2012 was just topsey-turvey. Crazy since the Bud Shootout, but it was awesome he finally gets his first W at Homestead. Matter of fact, there's quite a good-sized list of the tracks Jeff got HMS their first win at. Let's see: Chicagoland, Homestead, Fontana, Indy, etc.
Anyone who says Jimmie Johnson is better than Jeff Gordon is clueless. The reason Gordon is doing poorly is just terrible luck.Yes he is losing some skill, but even then he is still one of the greatest racing drivers ever. He's up there with Schumacher,Earnhardt,Senna,Petty and others. And the reason Jimmie is so good is because every week he has the best car.Its 30% skill,70% car.
I believe Jeff can/will complete his long overdue drive for five this coming season, but how much more do you suppose he'll continue to drive? He's been in NASCAR for 20+ years now, and he's 41 years old now. You've gotta believe that he's going to retire sometime in the next 10 years.
The end of an era. Farwell DuPont, you shall be missed
They're not gone. They just changed the name to Axalta
More ppl in victory lane for Jeff than there was for Brad title celebration
To me, Jeff is a 7 time Champion
He should have been a 5 time champion 🏆
@@Cjay7324 If the dog shit chase was never added Jeff would be a 7 time. NASCAR just had to add bullshit gimmicks because Penske bitched.
@@bingusworshipper 👌🤌🤝
I hope he wins Kentucky, gets 100 victories, and one more title before he retires. Gordon is awesome and one of the greatest ever.
This was a fantastic win... must have been awesome to have him win in your home town man! Thnx for sharing.
One of the few bright spots of what was an otherwise frustrating season for the 24.
Thank you for all these uploads!! Go 24!!
when i was watching this i was so happy when jeff took the lead and i was also happy for brad k i hope jeff wins at indy this weekend
I want one more insane season for Jeff, like 8-10 wins, plus winning the title.
It would be awesome if the 2015 Race at Homestead was just like this. Except Jeff running the Rainbow car with Axalta on the hood, he win's the race, and the 2015 championship!!! GO JEFF!!! Team 24! #24!

TAKE THAT BOWYER!!
the definiton of poetic justice
My favorite win in many ways, not only he finally won at Homestead, could have been suspended, more importantly he beat Clint Bowyer!! That JA!!
Now we are all waiting for #88. Just hope that he wins this year so he can get into the chase. He deserves more than 4 championships. this chase thing is a good idea but not during a regular season.

I was very happy when Jeff Gordon Winning this race and now he wants to win at Kentucky
Ready to add another? Jeff Gordon Win #88 @ Martinsville!
After Jeff gave up the win yesterday, I'm starting to believe that he just doesn't have the will to win anymore. Kasey Kahne did have the best car all day long but Jeff could have held him off if he restarted on the high line, preventing Kahne from passing, keeping Jeff in clean air, and driving to the victory

This race was about going out big. DuPont went out with a win in the final race, and Dodge went out with a Sprint Cup Championship.
AMEN and hopefully another championship for BK in the near future, too!
I can definitely say that I would NEVER wish that upon anyone-- especially my favorite racecar driver.
Yeah, your right, I'm dreading those days. He might race the 2015 season...Idk. I just don't think he will be racing too much longer. He wants to spend time with his family.
I think 2013 will be one of the best seasons for Jeff and #Team24.
Just one more championship!
This my top 5 favorite because it was on birthday!
I've noticed that ever since 1998 Gordon performs better in odd numbered years. If it continues,2013 should be a great year.
that was one of the best paint schemes ever
Homestead hasnt been around for 20 years....the track opened in 1995 and didnt have nascar racing until 1999
My Thursday Throwback!
I think you're right. I think Gordon said so in his book, "Racing Back to the Front."
I really hope jeff wins 100 races before he retires!! Hopefully he gets to atleast 91 next season
glad he won this race now it's time to go get that daytona 500 again and then win not only the southern 500 at darlington, the coke 600 at charlotte in may but as well as the brickyard 400 at indy in august not to mention on his birthday of all days. to win another championship u have to win the big races in cup and ik jeff has all the talent in the world to do it and if he can do that and win at kentucky too he'll be the sprint cup champion in 2013 i can promise u that guys.

sorry for double post sure would like these on dvd
And that's this weekend. If you look on his Facebook page, I think Jeff's feeling confinfident he can win at Kentucky. I'm confident he can, too. :)
I went to the first race of the chase. Gordon had it won from the back in 2012. Only got passed once by Kyle Busch, but he passed him right back on the next lap. Gordon sure has had slot of people wreck him and a lot of parts failures...
That was a very special win.
Hope we see Jeff in victory lane at Homestead this year. ;)
And the championship to
Well, if he gets to the next round, that would be assumed.
Majestic Chicken Fuck Brad Keselowski. Dirty piece of shit.
He got the pole too. Damn, this sucks.
I'm actually really hoping Jeff doesn't win because it will just make me even more pissed off about Texas.
Alright win #88 will come sometime this week I want to upload a high quality version of the last 50-100 laps or so not just the last 10 so be patient.
There's not a soul in the #24 nation that wouldn't love to see that happen. Jeff's got momentum on his side, now!
Good thing he won then, lol I'm going to miss the Dupont. Had so much sucess with it on the car.
GOO#24!!
i laughed my ass off how gordon got 1st and clint got 2nd haha congrats to keselowski totally awesome driver he rly deserved it
I just realized that the last 4 seasons (2009-2012) that the driver who won at homestead made the chase -the next season.
2009 Denny hamlin
2010 2nd in points
2010 Carl Edwards
2011 2nd in points
2011 tony Stewart
2012 8th in points
Do the math I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to Jimmie and Jeff next season for the championship.
It may be the last time the name DuPont is on the car, but the same people he worked with for 20 years is now going to have a special paint scheme at Talladega this year.
Jeff won at Homestead in the busch series in 2000 in a pepsi car I believe.
Jeff won at martinsville! so happy almost fell off my bed lol
I think that we are going to see a lackluster year from the Johnson crew, they have starting to have internal issues and Jimmie is letting 5 get to his head, something I think we can all say Jeff never really did. He always remained humble and still is... but he loves winning... I think Jeff is going to be top 3 next year all season long...

do you have any strikes with youtube and nascar?
And the 2013 Quaker State 400 at Kentucky!!
This race was the Car of Tomorrow’s last hurrah.
Dupont's paint division was sold and is now known as Axalta.
Way to GO JEFF GORDON!!! #24!! Love that 20years DUPONT CAR!
Way to finish strong!! WOOHOO!!
THAT would be awesome. I'd love to see him break Earnhardt Sr. and Petty's record of 7 titles.
Yep, there too. Correct me if I'm mistaking, but isn't he also the first HMS driver to win the Daytona 500?
He is like Sr. finaly winning at Daytona but he wins at Miami trying for 20 years.
8 wins away from 100th win & 18 wins to go before he ties David Pearson.
Let's start a long string of consecutive NEW champions now!
This is my favorite Jeff Gordon win cause it was in my home town Miami
Kurt Busch will be a contender for the title next year!
Johnson wasn't even the runner up in 2012, Bowyer was. Although he is sitting 2nd in points this year as well.
Hey, you can upload another video now!
Give him a little bit, guys. He's got a life.
Until recently when Chromax (a division of DuPont) announced that they would sponsor Jeff for some races.
A curiosity about Jeff Gordon is a title dispute it every 6 years. 1995/2001/2007/2013. Hopefully I'm right.
class act after the shit brad said about him after phoenix he wants them to focus on the champion, class that most drivers never have. same at atlanta how he had a win with a bump but he tried it clean instead of forcing it
I hope he win, he deserve it.
Gordon would have won championships in 2004 and 2007 if not for the points system. He would've had six total championships right now.
Totally agree. In the past Jimmie Johnson & Tony Stewart in the last few years always waited on the backstretch to let the winner have his moment. I guess the newbie has no idea about etiquette.
Cromax Pro is part if Duponts paint division that was sold to The caryle group. Dupont has no part in Hendrick or gordon any longer.
Now one more track for Jeff to win at... Kentucky!!!
Okay, thanks for the clarification. Forgot about ol' DW. lol
Im racing at Homestead in a week. Wanna be like JG and get that P1 spot!
the ironic part about that race is that the driver he wrecked, which was Bowyer finished in 2nd behind him, and Johnson lost another championship baby!!!
Pretty crazy how Bowyer and Gordon finished 1,2
Yeah, and it'd be nice if he could get not one more title, but 2 or 3 more. And yes, 2013 should be a GREAT year for Jeff. I just hope at Daytona he doesn't have happen to him in the 500 like in pre-season thunder at Daytona.
But if he wouldn't been in the garage he would ha I mean honestly who had the Better chance to win it all coming into this race bowyer or johnson? Thank you
what other track does he have to win at
No more DuPont Chevrolet. Same sponsor for 20 years is awesome. Now it's Axalta Coating Systems. Maybe they will adopt that famous DuPont oval?
Jimmie Johnson: class act as always
Yeah, and who knows what could've happened this year- or even last- had bad luck not bitten Jeff and the #24 team in the ass. 2011, had a great year, then a not so good chase. 2012 was just topsey-turvey. Let's see: Chicagoland, Homestead, Fontana, Indy, etc.
Now DuPont is CroMax Pro, but they still sponsor Jeff. And I think his gen-3 scheme got resurrected.
gordon wins! time for an upload!
And now Jeff and Clint are co analysts on FOX 😂
I wonder why Dodge left NASCAR
Don't forget Kansas, the first two races there.
11:38 - Brad Keselowski wins the championship
Anyone who says Jimmie Johnson is better than Jeff Gordon is clueless. The reason Gordon is doing poorly is just terrible luck.Yes he is losing some skill, but even then he is still one of the greatest racing drivers ever. He's up there with Schumacher,Earnhardt,Senna,Petty and others. And the reason Jimmie is so good is because every week he has the best car.Its 30% skill,70% car.
Jeff Gordon: 2013 Champ
Aliya Mustafina: 2013 AA Gold
@nascarfanatic2425 Darrel Waltrip won HMS first Daytona 500 in 1989 with the #17 Tide sponsored car.
Actually, its not the equipment that makes Jimmie better. It's the crew chief, and, yes, Chad Knaus DID try to cheat at Talledega that one time.
I believe Jeff can/will complete his long overdue drive for five this coming season, but how much more do you suppose he'll continue to drive? He's been in NASCAR for 20+ years now, and he's 41 years old now. You've gotta believe that he's going to retire sometime in the next 10 years.
ok CUP racing there since 1999
Jeff Gordon Winning 3 Races In 2013 = Go To 90Th Win
kasey won in the bright green car at charlette
