The Terminator movies have always been a favorite of mine. I grew up with the first three movies, and just recently watched Salvation, Genisys, and Dark Fate. I wasn't a big fan of Salvation, I thought Genisys was pretty good, and I loved Dark Fate. Had a lot of fun watching that one and then I got the inspiration to make this after 2WEI released this song a couple weeks ago. I thought it fit the Terminator movies quite well and I'm excited with how this turned out. Hope you guys like this, and hopefully there's some people that love Dark Fate as much as I do. :)

I find entertainment in all the Terminator movies and the TV series. Not all of them are of the same quality, and some had promise that was extinguished in some cases, but there is entertainment value in all of it, and the stories are haunting when you consider the possibilities. Especially as we see AI creep to life in realtime. Great work, this video. Thank you.

The voices match the flow of the song, the build up of using visually similar scenes, the intricacies of how you use the song and clips to carry the edit is just all so immaculate 💙

One of my favourite songs of all time. I’m a sucker for the Gary Jules cover Heather. What an unsuspected delight! What a fun movie franchise. I feel like I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum enjoying films like Salvation but I’m just too weak to say no to Bale. Amazing video. Major goosebumps at 2:17!! Same with the combat that follows. Absolutely brilliant.

I was literally saying oh my God throughout the whole video because this has to be the best terminator tribute of all time and UA-cam not notifying me makes me extra sad because I could’ve watch this two days earlier and the colouring is just the icing on the cake on this edit, and you are ultimately the best editor and no one can take that from you I’m glad you still edit even after a decade well one. The music you have chosen goes really well with the edit too. Great Terminator video.
A while back, I had this idea of a future Terminator film that acknowledges the different timelines of the previous films and make them out to be simulations run by Skynet to explore alternative outcomes to time travel. It would be a way to explain the inconsistencies between the films.

@@xHeather360x tbh it seems like the kind of film I’d enjoy. It looks dumb but it looks like it has the right tone to back it. And usually every film people accuse of being “woke” I end up liking somewhat (except for things like captain marvel and ww84 but more so because of the terrible script). Like No Time To Die. It’s the finale of the saga, like dark fate is meant to be, and it’s “gone too woke” according to everyone but I fucking loved it xD
I was never a fan of these but you may have just encouraged me to give them another go ;)
Oh, you should! Especially Terminator 1 and 2. They are spectacular. Everybody seems to be on the fence with the rest, but I personally really liked Terminator 3 and Dark Fate.

It’s a shame you didn’t use many scenes from terminator salvation. I’ve always had a soft spot for that film primarily because of the Marcus Wright character.
I wasn’t really much of a fan of Salvation, unfortunately. I can totally understand the appeal though! I thought it had some good elements.
