I put on my headphones in the university library as soon as I got the notification ♥️♥️ Btw, I love your friendship with Zoe, friends that gave us books and sweet treats are the best!
I didn't like The Queen of The Tearling either but then I decided to read The Invasion of the Tearling and I LOVED IT so you should totally keep reading
I watch so many book tubers and quite often I buy at least one of the books they talk about, its a great source of books for me and it makes me read outside my normal genres which really can never hurt! Good job!
I am so happy that someone else feels the same as I do about The Cruel Prince. I loved it until chapter 26. Also, A Great and Terrible Beauty is one of my favorite fantasy series! I hope you enjoy it!
Happy 21! Reese's are the best! That cover for An Ember in the Ashes is gorgeous. I wish UK covers wouldn't sell out so easily. Great haul! I'm very interested in The Wicked Deep and Truly Devious!
Your videos makes me soo happy. I picked up A darker Shades of Magic because of you and I fell in love. Books can really change a life and your channel remember me how much reading is important.
so glad you read Down and Across! it's so important for diverse own voice books to get as much exposure as they can and i'm really happy you found representation in that novel :D excited to hear your thoughts!
My favourite series ever, is the Gemma Doyle Trilogy. I started reading it when only the A Great and Terrible Beauty was out and my poor copy is so worn out. I'm pretty sure you'll love it!
I rarely ever do this but I bought The Wicked Deep when I found it at the bookstore knowing nothing about it because of how beautiful that cover is. I can’t wait to dive into it!
I love A Great and Terrible Beauty series (maybe a trilogy). I haven't been to the library for a long time so I didn't know Libba Bray has a new series out. I am excited to read it. ☺
I'm so glad you picked up Windwitch I absolutely loved reading it and cannot wait for Bloodwitch to be released! Yes the 10th anniversary edition if CoB is so cute I also purchased it and sat down for like 15mts just to stare at it! 😁
I'm so early, I've become very addicted to this channel very quickly. You're definitely going to love three dark crownes. Won't say much, I haven't gotten to the second book but the first one, I just couldn't put it down.
I’m so glad you’re finally getting to a great and terrible beauty! I read that when I was in high school and I remember the last book was HUGE but had these nice textured pages that felt important for whatever reason lol
I love that your sister got you special editions of some of your favorite books! I read The Hazel Wood and was not impressed, which was sad, since it sounded so interesting and the cover was gorgeous.
First I have to tell you that I love your channel. The videos you put out are awesome and you're very genuine. I just finished reading the first 3 books in "The School for Good and Evil" series. The first 3 are a trilogy... but he is continuing with the series and there's a 4th book out. I loved this story so much. It was enchanting from beginning to end. It is a must read.
I’ve read book one and two of the School for Good and Evil and I like them, they’re really fun. I think you’ll like them 😊 That edition of An Ember of the Ash is very pretty and I see why you freaked out haha
Irish Reader I was so shocked because I had no idea what to expect lolll. But yes it’s GORGEOUS! You should definitely read the series if you haven’t yet!
Omg yes I’m on book 2 of the Diviners and it’s sooo good. Can’t wait to hear what you think of a Great and Terrible Beauty so I can see if I wanna read it hehe 😏
I can't wait for you to read The School for Good and Evil, it's one of my favourites! Don't forget once you're finished there's a forth book, which is the start of a sequel trilogy! Also I own both the US and UK collectors editions of ADSOM and they're both gorgeous! The UK one is even signed!
I'm glad you mentioned Truthwitch! I picked it up a few months ago because it looks interesting, but I've been too lazy to read it.. maybe now I'll get around to it!
The Gemma Doyle trilogy is one of my all time favorites. It's SO amazing and gets me so in the feels! I love The Diviners as well and still need to read the next book! Libba Bray is one of my favs!! Please read the Gemma Doyle trilogy soon!! Also Celeste Ng is amazing too! I still need to read Little Fires Everywhere but Everything I Never Told You is one of my all time favs as well!
The Three Dark Crowns series is my favorite 😍 you will not be disappointed. The first book is Three Dark Crown, One Dark Throne, and the third one is Two Dark Reigns!
I’m not usually into horror but the wicked deep look really interesting and I might consider reading this. It’s going onto my possible to buy list. The cruel prince also looks interesting.
The thing with the Queen of the Tearling trilogy is that it’s kind of hard to get into. It took me 5 tries to actually finish the first book (I also stopped at around 70pgs every time), but when I did finish it, I ended up loving it! I found book 2 to be infinitely better, but have yet to read book 3, because what I’ve realized is that you have to be in a certain mood to read this series. But it’s still really good though, and I suggest to give it a second try when you’re feeling up to it.
three dark crowns sounds super interesting but im going to wait for the entire series to come out before diving in! also wicked deep sounds really good so adding that to my TBR asap
Susan Dennard seems so awesome, her insta stories and videos about writing attest to that... I'm glad you said you really enjoyed Truthwitch, I got a copy and will be starting it soon (hopefully) I really want to read Persepolis since it was a pick in Emma Watson's book club... I've been seeing Down And Across around recently, sounds intriguing! So many books...must exerscise control...
The Hazel Wood was the first book I read this year and I absolutely adored it, but it was an arc so I want to get a finished copy so I can relive the story. I thought it was amazing
I just purchased "The Belles" last week. Can't wait to start it after I finish "The Afterlife of Holly Chase." You can NEVER go overboard when buying books!
I also got the collector edition od A Darker Shade of Magic maybe a month ago and it is AMAZING! it’s more beautiful in real life it’s just perfect👌🏽 I actually want to read The Wicked Deep, The Hazel Wood, The Cruel Prince and Three Dark Crowns! can’t wait for the wrap up!
So many great books. I am sorry that you didn't like Queen of the Tearling. I know that it is a polarizing read. After hearing how much you connected with Persepolis, I was inspired to loan my copy to one of my students who is from Jordan (I know that is not the same as Iran, but nearby enough that she could connect). She absolutely loved the book. She immediately asked for part two, which I do not own but will be ordering just so she can read it. It makes me happy to inspire a love of literature and connection for my students.
I love the school for good and evil. I got the same series on book outlet and I'm on the 3rd book right now. I absolutely love it! It kind of reminds me of harry potter. Lol
Oooo Three Dark Crowns sounds so intriguing because King Lear is literally one of my favourite plays I love it so much!!! I really want three dark crowns now😂 The Belles is so amazing I loved it so much!! You’re going to love it so much!💖 The wicked deep also sounds so amazing I’m definitely adding it to my tbr😂
I started the Ember in the Ashes because of you and i know it's already a favorite! Also, Libba Bray's Gemma Doyle trilogy has interracial relationship rep which is so awesome!
Oh my god for some reason I had a feeling you were Iranian American without actually knowing for sure, it makes me so happy 😍 Is it weird that I feel so happy about being represented as an Iranian in the booktube community? Anyway you’re one of my fave ever booktubers keep up the good work 😍😍😍
I had no idea there was a Persepolis 2! I read the first book in school and loved it :) I think it would be really cool if you filmed a video about the books you've read recently that have to do with your background and representation in books (like Persepolis and Down and Across).
I just recently read A Great and Terrible Beauty and I loved it So Much! I also really highly recommend Going Bovine also by Libba Bray; it's one of my most favorite books probably ever
I've got Leia as well. Was going to read it over Christmas along with another Star Wars book but the other one took longer than I thought so I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Currently finishing up The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson and it's pretty good, but it's structured like a trilogy, short story collection, novella and an art collection and this is the first volume of a 10 book series. Also the characters are diverse with three of the main characters being similar in appearance to Indians, another major player being atheist and introducing other diverse players getting focus on future books. I'd probably pick up The Belles but I'm trying to finish catching up on what I've got on my shelves right now. I also want to pick up Saga but I'm going to do the book Volumes so if I pick up the current two I have to wait for the third one coming soon.
I've read the first book of school for good and evil, and...i liked it a lot at the start, but towards in the end it became...messy? Confusing? I'm not really sure, I'm going to reread it again.
I really want to read Three Dark Crowns as well! And I'm thinking about getting School for good and evil but I don't know:D NEED to read Truthwitch:) WOW, I love the edition of An Ember in the Ashes! I just got An Ember in The Ashes for Christmas and I can't wait to read it!
Love your videos! Am wondering what you didn’t like about Queen of the Tearlinh.I have it on my future TBR, but now I’m wonder if I should even buy it...
Little Fires Everywhere is very good! I really enjoyed it so I picked up Everything I Never Told You.. tbh I didn't like is AS much, but it's still very good!
I've read the school for good and evil and I'm very close to finishing book four . I love it! P.S book 5 is coming out in march !You will certainly enjoy reading this series :)
You're one of the first book tubers I ever watched. Everytime I see your videos i get excited and add 25 books to my TBR.
I loved The School For Good and Evil. And also loved Leia. It covers her teenage years, and its really good!
You are literally my FAVORITE booktuber !! So many books on my TBR list are recommendations from you 😂
I put on my headphones in the university library as soon as I got the notification ♥️♥️

An Ember in the Ashes needs more love. I seriously thought I was the only one in love with it. I seriously need all editions of it.
Libba Bray is legitimately one of my favorite authors. If you’re in the mood for a stand alone, I think you’d really love Going Bovine
