A couple of weeks ago I ordered something similar, it's called the drop shot jock. Upside to what I got was that it's more compact, and it also has a slit in it that you can use to keep a Texas rigged plastic without having to expose the hook point every time, and it also uses only one o-ring. Oh, and it's cheaper. Check it out.
That’s a cool product. Thanks for showing us this cool gadget, a hook keeper is a must on a fishing rod IMO. This will definitely help when you don’t have one plus it also helps out keeping the weight from dangling around. 👍. It’s a winner for me.

you spend almost $1000 after taxes and shipping for a Loomis GLX and it comes with no hook keeper... I just dont get it. I still don't know what the hell to do with my GLX... Get a guy to put a proper hook keeper on the rod but like you said it costs a lot to have done, or buy the fuji hook keeper that we talked about in your other video... Why the hell they dont come with a hookeeper I wont ever understand...

It’s a great rod. I have a few of the elite rods and love them all. If you can get over the silver blank they’re a reel winner 👌
