Well he is the Demon "lord" afterall he is like a father figure of the entire demon race who will do what needs to be done for the benefit of the entire race, unlike the hero who is a strategic weapon for either human alliance/ religious faction which has brainwashed her/ provided with compermentalized information, who will stop at nothing for the greater good of mankind( which I doubt). Thus the outlook of the two is vastly different and thus the flaws of the hero's parenthood is greatly scrutinized by us viewers(and we are only in 2 eps), still I hope Emilia will have character growth as a person(not as a burdened hero) again in this arc after the last one.
