Is there a pre-test or pre-assessment done before the main assessment? I know that in some schools, there are assessments that don’t add up to your grades but it is for you to get acquainted to the system in which you get the result and feedback. Please, is this done in Swansea University?
Oh wow. Wish I got the chance to pick a topic. I’m in Swansea university as well (finishing this month) & our experiences are very different. My classes were in blocks. So one week a month. 9-5pm everyday for that single week then nothing else till the next month’s course. And it’s repeated like that for a week again. Then the recommended plagiarism limit for my faculty is 0% and we all had to pick our dissertation topics ourselves. I also didn’t write any exams. Just app creations, website designs and so many 4000 word essays. I honestly can’t wait to be done with my dissertation and officially sign out. Phew. It’s been quite the journey. Has had its ups and downs but also been super fulfilling to be fair.
