whats your opinions on the 700 deere vs. the komatsu you were running? i own a 650J lgp that has had quite a few issues in the past. Thinking of switching to komatsu
This may be a bit more komatsu biased just because i ran one for two years but trying to separate the two with no opinion i liked the komatsu better. My biggest thing was when you change from forward to reverse you couldn't set it for a higher gear (unless i didn't see you could) and it was annoying changing gears in the deere opposed to not having to in the komatsu. The new deeres may have this option. The whole time i ran the komatsu it never broke down so it was a pretty reliable machine. It was also smoother and faster than the deere. The komatsu also climbed steep grades much better. They would push about the same amount heavy bulking. The deere may have had a little more grunt but not much. But fine grading the deere didn't come close. It feels like you have so much more control with the komatsu. The visibility in the new dash 22 23 series is phenomenal. You can put someone who has never ran a dozer and in a few hours they are putting down some decent grades. Its really easy to operate. The deere was still really nice. I would own a deere if komatsu wasn't around but it would be komatsu all day everyday. I hear the new k series deeres are really nice but i know they still don't have the visibility a komatsu has. If you have a komatsu dealer close i would serially consider getting a D51px-23. I don't think you would regret it.
man thats awesome news to hear. I really appreciate you getting back with me on that. gonna get my channel up and going shortly with some videos. I'll keep you updated once i get them going too. Thanks again for the reply man.
