Ecumenópolis is a term invented by the Greek architect and urban planner Constantinos Doxiadis in 1967. The term alludes to the idea that, in the future, urban areas and megalopolises will merge into a single world city, given the increasing urbanization and growth of the population. (City-planet).

Remember, it may look pretty but Coruscant is still basically a Warhammer 40K hive city extrapolated across an entire planet and entire societies exist deep below the urban surface that haven’t seen the light of day in generations while having to dodge mutant cannibals and criminal gangs.
As the vibrant capital of the Galactic Republic in the Star Wars universe, Coruscant has several advantages: 1. Political Hub: It serves as the political center, hosting the Senate and various government institutions, fostering diplomacy and governance. 2. Cultural Diversity: With its vast population of different species and cultures, Coruscant offers a rich tapestry of traditions, art, and cuisine. 3. Economic Prosperity: Being a major trade and business hub, Coruscant enjoys significant economic prosperity and opportunities. 4. Technological Advancements: The planet showcases cutting-edge technology and urban development, reflecting a highly advanced civilization. 5. Education and Knowledge: Coruscant houses prestigious academies, universities, and libraries, making it an intellectual powerhouse. 6. Entertainment and Recreation: The cityscape offers a plethora of entertainment options, from theaters and sports events to various recreational activities. However, it's worth noting that these advantages come with downsides too, such as overpopulation, social inequality, and political intrigue, as depicted in the Star Wars saga.

such a beautiful city. i wish i could visit it
Me too! Closest thong we have around here would be Dubai - imagine living there!
Telcom Transmissions yea dubai, tokyo, a few of chinas mega cities, singapore, hong kong, and manhattan are the closest things to corusant but too bad my states on lockdown
Gorgeous! I love this :D
Thank you! 😊
Well, that wasn't a virtual tour. The planet has 5127 levels, and the only one we see here is the last one.
🤷♂️
May our future be like this
May it not, this is the coolest planet to look at in star wars but also the worst to live on. Only the richest of the richests got to enjoy the cool aspects. Anyone who ain't in that group can enjoy all the crimes and disease of it and possibly never get to see the sunlight
@@slimetank394basically us right now with 3rd world countries as the underworld of coruscant but we should just turn earth into one big city and suck up all the water from the ocean like they did to the planet of Coruscant yep 👍👍
Absolutely beautiful work.
🙏
Imagine being a kid and losing yourself there...
There could be a planet out there just like Coruscant.
🤔
Ecumenópolis is a term invented by the Greek architect and urban planner Constantinos Doxiadis in 1967. The term alludes to the idea that, in the future, urban areas and megalopolises will merge into a single world city, given the increasing urbanization and growth of the population. (City-planet).
Sounds like space globalism 🤔

Maybe 🤔
The *surface* level of Coruscant is a cool place to live
It certainly would be!
You’ve been there? Lol jk
@@TelcomTransmissions Haha I wish
i’d like to imagine coruscant as if LA were a planet
Or Dubai
It’s like the NYC of Star Wars!
This is true!
MTFBWY!
@@TelcomTransmissions, damn right it is! MTFBWY!
0:10 Look at that. There's not a single piece of nature in the entire planet
🤔
wow
Thanks for checking it out!
This is brilliant!! I'm making a star wars fan film using stop motion figures and parts of this will make AMAZING cut scenes! I will give you credit! Thank you so much!! Plus, just as a SW fan, this is freaking fantastic!
@@Batbird74 thanks for checking out the video! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with your fan film! 👍
I love coruscant
Me too! Coolest looking Star Wars planet!
@@TelcomTransmissions you're right :)
this looks so real like i'm looking through a window
Imagine being hit by a lightsaber on the top of a skyscraper on that planet and then falling kilometers down into the artificial surface
I'd watch that blade runner movie
The makers of no man’s sky need to take note of this for sure. Star Wars update highly needed there for sure
Cool just found on sharrrie
Thanks for stopping by! :)
Thank-you! Amazing editing. I've always loved Curoscant and wish I could visit, but only if I had enough credits 😉.
Thanks for checking out the video!
I’m very glad that you enjoyed it!
Remember, it may look pretty but Coruscant is still basically a Warhammer 40K hive city extrapolated across an entire planet and entire societies exist deep below the urban surface that haven’t seen the light of day in generations while having to dodge mutant cannibals and criminal gangs.
As the vibrant capital of the Galactic Republic in the Star Wars universe, Coruscant has several advantages:
I miss the clone wars era
