The man who saw tomorrow
His Excellency, again I say His Excellency Professor Barth Nnaji, may the Almighty God bless you, your beautiful wife, and your lovely family. You have achieved THE IMPOSSIBLE inspite of all the obstacles. You like His Excellency Peter Obi deserve to be honoured by the WHOLE IGBO NATION and I will suggest "ọkụ Ndi Igbo". This singular act of establishing GEOMETRIC POWER ABA has unlocked the GREAT POTENTIALS OF ABA IN PARTICULAR AND THE WHOLE OF SOUTH EAST IN GENERAL, AND WILL RESURRECT THE "ABA/IGBO MADE PHENOMENON" of the 1970s/1980s that favourably competed with "MADE IN TAIWAN" in the old Bendel State and Warri in particular, where I grew up. I hope other industrious and wealthy Nigerians will emulate the love you have for Nigeria. YOU ARE A BLESSING TO NIGERIA. May the ALMIGHTY GOD ALSO BLESS AND KEEP HER EXCELLENCY, DR. NGOZI OKONJO-IWEALA and GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI.
Thanks Prof. You will never walk alone.
Posterity will forever remember you.
A journey of a thousand miles starts with just a step. Good beginning
Just bcos of hatred & their tribal nonsense thats why Nigeria still eemain in darkness 🌑. You guys should allow the Igbo's to build a better nation, bcos they have all it takes to make Nigeria super great. me i just speak my mind, no insults pls.
Aba is the new Investors destination
We need more of this private power distribution to create competitive market in electricity distribution in Nigeria. Which in turn will reduce price monopoly and brings down the cost for customers
@@johnsonokono886Please don't mention this monopoly too loud, Dangote might hear you and rush to corner the entire sector to himself. 😂
This is surely bad news for Lagos, I have always said this that Lagos will surely fall imminently.
Economic monopoly of Lagos is why the South East is underdeveloped today, once they is a viable and active sea port in proximity to Aba then that is game over for Lagos.
Economically dominant Aba can serve as a leverage for Igbos in the political equation during presidential elections.
Whilst people of other regions might be smiling in the faces of Igbos as regards the advent of the Geometric Power project they will be hissing behind our backs, I hope they don't sabotage the power plant by withholding gas supply to it, Nigeria is never one country and can never be, jealousy and envy amongst the tribes is why the nation might never develop to it's full potentials, splitting will surely be the best remedy.
@@chimaezeenwerem5035wisdom demands that there things you don't say in a public forum like this. Aba and entire southeast will boom in all areas, Lagos and other places in the country will equally boom, everyone will be on their lane, we're not in competition pls.
@@EbukaMark-cu1bk so why is the South East not booming now at the moment and what is wrong with competition?
Surely you have heard and know what political strategic interests means to nations like America, UK and France even in Africa, my brother the World is a jungle it is a safari, one nations fall is another nations rise, keep living in Wonderland.
Egypt and Ethiopia are at economic loggerheads with the River Nile and both nations damming the river is at the economic detriment to one another, same way Ethiopia does not want a peaceful Somalia so as not to have another power house in Eastern Africa.
South East can never progress with the rise of Lagos one side must fall for the other to rise, this is life unfortunately.
Dear Uncle Bath. Nnaji, Humanity thank you for your faith and doggedness for this great vision. Thank you sir. Chukwu Okike Abiama bless you, your team and your entire family ❤
Abians and all lovers of good things Congratulations. My principal Peter Obi and my No. 1 Governor in Nigeria the great Alex Otti well done Sir.
With love from Cross River state and my lovely wife of Osisioma Nkwa Original❤
Just asking though. Are you Igbo?
@@dermotwallace5533 lol
Kudos to Proff Bart Nnaji on this great achievement. This is what former minister of power does, not when Buhari appointed SAN as minister of power😢
Raji Fasola😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It is highly encouraging that in the middle of Nigeria's chronic woes, there is a little bright light in Aba. A city that will now be enjoying 24/7 electricity.
I wish the Nigerian government would give this man the contract to power Nigeria😊
At least he has shown that it could be done. Let's see if the criminals at power house in Abuja are bigger will prevent President Tinubu from engaging Prof Nnaji.
They won't, because he might not yield for them to use him loot public funds.
They won't, he's Igbo
They wont. They don't work with people who have integrity. They prefer who will aid their looting tendencies
@@ukwuomaezinne7480 the hate of igbos has growth Nigeria ...lol
Congratulations Sir...for putting smile's in the south east.
Well done my brother you are a credit to your race
Dede, ekele diri gi oooo. Udo di kwara gi ooo.
We need power in anambra , congrats prof bath nnaji
Nigeria is really dragging igbo's back. 😢
These are the kind of projects that can impact the citizens of the country and improve the economy of the Nation on a long run
God bless Engineer Nnaji and the governor and the beautiful people of Abia State and everyone who contributed to the good things happening in this part of the world. If the environment is healthy you won't see much crime.
Excellent journalese ... udo diiri Ndi igbo!
they have frustrated this project for 20 years. The people who want no progress in nigeria re keeping it without electricity.
May God continue to keep you give you good health, more wisdom and long Life.🎉🎉
This is why you give the man that knows the job the work to do
Thank you sir, you’re amazing, you did it, we’re proud of you , with love ❤👍🙏🇺🇸
Revolution is last option to liberate Nigeria from America and Europe control which democracy is the instrument for control.
True
It wasn't America and Europe that broke the law to install Tinubu, it was Nigerians. Stop blaming people that are taking care of their citizens.
@@Ebube_RichardI beg help me tell them o. I can't stand our people who conveniently ignore the many atrocities we knowingly inflict on ourselves, then turn around and start pointing accusing fingers at peope far away across the ocean.
😂😂😂😂 always blaming white people
That's what called Professor
👌wow!God bless you 🙏 great job
Dear Sir,
How much will it cost us - Nigeria to build a national geometric project to generate at least 5k MW in 6 Geopolitical regions
You're very pragmatic. Simple!
By rough calculation, over $100b if we use $800m for 270, 000 households. Total households in Nigeria is 42million
@@Frank-Bediko62they also constructed 27,000 KM gas pipeline to supply gas to the power plant all of this including the power plant cost $800M Dollars
@@innocentchukwuma5215 I am not preschool! The circumference of the earth is 40,000km. Do you mean they constructed pipe line more than half round the earth? I am sure it is less than 100km, and it is still costly. It maybe possible liabilities before the current owners took over, afterall it almost 20yrs to complete the project, which is a different discussion.
Why does it cost so much to do a project in Africa than in some other nation..
A welcome development
This was the man who was supposed to build and manage Nigeria power sector before he was kick out.
A super patriot.❤
Barth Nnaji loves Nigeria.
He loves his people.
He could have invested this money abroad like our selfish and corrupt politicians and just relax and ignore the people .
But you have chosen love and progress.
Thank you.❤
God Bless you our Renowned Prof Nnaji. You have done noble and we know you among the League of SE PROFESSIONALS who are really working has for SOUTH EAST DEVELOPMENT.
History will be kind to your Doggedness
I must commend Dr Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala and Gov Alex Otti for giving thi enabling environment even before he became a Governor seeing what OUK began.
Weldone sir
Please call Back Barth Nnaji to answer this very important question on life TV.
Issue of neighborhood transformers
Since this power plant was commissioned, neighborhood in Aba that had broken down transformers are harassing residents forcing them to contribute money to buy transformers. What is Geometric plan for strengthening their distribution network.
Should neighborhoods keep contributing money to buy transformers.
Thank
All the areas that this company is managing will be covered with new distribution equipment
It is a private company , so he won't allow touts and saboteurs to operate
Giga watts is what we should talking not megawatts
The hatred that runs in your DNA will not all you appreciate this man's effort. Do you know what is $800million? Has your father touched $1000 before?. Mumu
@@danielarinze486 look at this wretched soul. A department where I work generate more than that empty skull
@@danielarinze486 not everyone is poor like you fool.
@@danielarinze486Terrible, the kind of jealousy in their DNA. They can't seem to be able to contain the explosive entrepreneurial spirit of the Igbo man.
$800 is in my opinion is very expensive for $800m (less than 1% of households in Nigeria).
It very expensive to generate power
@@kingsleyoffor6752 I know that. But $800 to generate 118mw is very African standard which is mired by corruption, nepotism, lack of expertise and sheer incompetence.
What experience do you have in power you are talking like that
@@chinedujosephezengige5721 Why are Africans so defensive? We defend our elites even when we know they are corrupt, inept, etc. By sheer calculation, it will take over $100b to electrify Nigeria (42,000 households) if it takes $800m to electrify 277, 000 households. Sometimes you don't need to be an expect, just common sense will suffice. Anyway, they started discussing it on social media and Nigeria's news network.
@@Frank-Bediko62 you are talking rubbish, were you involved in the power business, have you ever involved in power business to come here to vomit rubbish, who is defensive?? Don't sit down and lay baseless allegations against someone because you don't know anything that went into the business, and besides this Is a private business and not government owned,so no where corruption will be involved, who wants to spend more money in building his or business?? Mr man u are talking rubbish
Prof Power
188MW. That is very small.
How many have you constructed?
Yes, it is always good to start small, in fact it is in the Bible, it says do not despise your little beginning for the eyes of the Lord rejoices to see it start and also a little drop of water makes a mighty ocean according to English man. Soon there will be plenty and bigger power plants in the southeast, don't forget that God populated the just two individuals, today we have over 8 billion people on earth.
He said it is more than enough for the people of Aba, Aba is a city in Abia State. He wasn't powering the entire south east.
@ark-cu1bk Good enough for Aba, excess will be channeled to the national grid, others should borrow a leaf.
Who is this fool?
Nice one professor nnaji Mumu Jonathan destroyed everything u wanted to offer to Nigeria but cos of his mumu idealogy Fulani wickedness cabal n some Yoruba people destroyed it but that god it in Aba
