10:48 I stupidly thought he was just throwing up a peace sign, lol. The "this is how many more are coming" hand signals are great - I wish people did that where I am!
in 2000 I bought my foreman 450, I ve done quite a bit of trails, and one thing you never expect is to cross a jeep, because they are mostly narrow, not much people used to go in them with 4x4s. I think it only happened once. and this is what I was reminded of when you encountered some. usually, you can go fast cause there is space to dodge. I imagine the faces of these guys facing a monster fj...lol. naturally, with the helmets on, you can only imagine.. but it s quite a shock; ouhh what s that? good show team!
I don't think I needed any lockers on this one, it turned out to be a pretty easy trail. But this whole are is amazingly beautiful, so any trail is great!
@@offroadhub.official yeah. Just got back. Very interesting steep sliding downhill parts . I’ve only had the 4Runner a month now so it still surprises me what it can do. I did have to ride the side a bit for traction and got some paint strips. I’ll admit I was ‘concerned’ with no way to opt out once commited . But it looks like I climbed the easier parts (zero issues) and the the downhill parts there is probably no way it could climb it unless I use momentum and drag parts. I try to avoid that so far and I climb extremely slow because it’s more enjoyable and if the tires slip, it getting to that limit anyway. I did use momentum once. I’m not sure I liked it though. Maybe with another vehicle and going up those long crazy climbs it would be fun. I was getting bored with the other tillamook trails as they are fun and require some maneuvers but there are not many. Than this ‘difficult’ level stuff seems to assume damage ... though if I knew I was covered underneath well, I may not care at all and just bob sled through stuff.
@@johnmadsen37 Sounds like it was a fun adventure. Definitely some steep hills! Once you get some under body protection and a couple vehicles to go out with you, Firebreak 5 is a challenging trail you could try. Thank you for sharing your experience on a trail I did. It's interesting to hear feedback from somebody who has done the same thing.

Put the drone up and show more of the scenery
what year is your fj man?
It's a 2010, 64k miles.

Offroad Hub I’m going to try in in a few minutes. It’s 35 minutes away and I haven’t been out since Wednesday!
I just have a stock 4Runner off road.
@@johnmadsen37 you'll do great and won't have any trouble. Have fun!
