Each and every guest says they owe a heaping helping of gratitude to the motel’s owner, Jaret Hucks. Steve Hartman has the story “On The Road.”

A man who practices his Christian values rather than crow about them
As someone who isn't religious, I do find Piety to be good in healthy amounts (like everything in human life, too much can be bad). Those like this man are the religious people i can get along with.

It's not about being religious. It's about walking with Christ. I have never met anyone as generous is the Christians have come across in my life.
I've had total strangers give me thousands of dollars because I needed it.
It's a different kind of relationship it's not just being religious.
What's really sad though is if you sat down and talked with this you'd probably find something that you don't like. To be honest I think political correctness and social justice nonsense is killing our country.
We should be helping one another but not in the way they want to.
Forcing people to do good never brings anything good. Pretending that evil is good and good is evil that's wrong too

I've been going on a spree, watching all of these videos. Tears all over, and smiles to boot. Amazingly touching stories, but I wanted to mention something I haven't seen in the comments. Steve's writing is also fantastic. The closing sentence for these stories is always powerful, and rich with metaphor or a play on an old adage. Steve really loves what he does, and these stories, these people, really move him.
