I don't know if this will help your maths anxiety or not, but everything changed for me when I realized that mastery or even complete comprehension isn't necessary at all to enjoy mathematics. It's like music - you can just sit down and listen to a piece of music and say if you like it or not without worrying about the music theory or what the song means. Its enough just go understand the idea of maths without being able to do it yourself.
